I took this and other courses with both these guys. In this video Brask mentions that he thought he would have been better prepared if he'd had a combat vet for a professor. I found this video just now because I am trying to look up these two; with Barat closed down, I don't know where they've gone. I am looking them up because I work in Kandahar, Afghanistan, hip deep in counterinsurgency. Did having Brask and Arnoldt as professors help prepare me? Yes, definitely.

I was there when this film was made. I would just like to thank jim and bob for their wonderful teaching style that helped me understand the world around me better. I took as many classes as they offered while at barat and feel a better person for it. Thank you dr brask and mr arnoldt!

Thanks for posting this. I had the pleasure of having Dr Brask for several classes at NIU in the mid-eighties, and I saw both teachers years later at Barat college when I sat in on their wonderful class. You cannot meet either of them and not be impacted. I hope this movie gets made.

I had Dr. Arnoldt as a professor 2 years ago and I still think about him and what I learned from him. Does anyone know if this documentary is finished and available to purchase?

yup my dad fought in the vietnam war he was in south with america against the north its a dam shame we lost 2 the north. they made my ancsetor life hell and killed some of my uncles and relative
