I sample alot with the Fruity Slicer and I never new you can click and drag your loops from the edison box. Learned something new : )

Yeh thats the thing with fl there are a lot of things that make your work faster...Thats the only thing in reason i have to chop it up in another program then load it in...fl studio you can do everything inside the DAW

Is there anyway you can put the sample into the fruity slice then edit certain sections the sample has been chopped at? so, the red lines on FL slicer, is there any way to move the duration of each chop to your liking, but keep the other sections where they are chopped???

Just load any old school song that you have into fruity loops then you can chop it up and make your samples

hey Menaceeffectz, do you know where in FL Slicer I can set the release all the way up for a triggered sample?

i dont want to have to hold down the mpd pad for the entire sample (assigned to that pad) to play all the way through

I suggest that if you are using an mpd try the fpc, but if you look in the fl slicer close to the top of the slicer you will see 4 menus on it..click on th INS menu once in there the release knob is all the way on the right it will say REL...then you can adjust the release for however long u want it

I know what you mean and I know that there is a way to do it even in Fl Studio, but I'm not sure how i think its with a type of phaser or phase limiter, but i dont know...But in most hip hop songs the vocals they sample and pitch high has music in the background

when you have the vocal sample, drag it into the channels and click on it. Go to time stretching and turn the pitch up. After that, time stretch it for however long you want it - one beat, 2 beats, 1 bar, 2 bars, etc.
