There are reasons for everything, but that doesn't make a law Constitutional or legally enforceable. The Constitution is very specific about what Congress has the power to pass laws for. They can pass laws regarding things like taxes and trade but they may not legally ban a product from being purchased by anyone. Of course that hasn't stopped them, since people don't read the Constitution and hold them to it. If it is that important to ban pot, then an Amendment to the Constitution is required.

In order to get Euros the US would have to sell goods and services. The government traded GM/Ford/Chrysler vehicles to Europe to get Euros to buy oil form Iraq. That's why the U.S. car companies went to the point of bankruptcy.
If GM closed down tomorrow it would greatly affect the middle class of the U.S. thousands of loose their jobs but instead they will just move to china. Caterpillar is in the process of moving all of its assembly plants to China

Canada doesn't need this North American Union to compete! We've had a trade surplus for well over a decade,and a budget surplus for eight years. Canada has one of the strongest economies in the western world.

I think we need to organize something, and make a human chain along I-35 to protest NAFTA Stupid Highway and National ID! If that National ID ever goes through, I'm moving to another state that isn't giving into it - Montana is one of them - get ready - go to Arizona and get your licenses now. AZ drivers license's are good for your entire life. Once you have that, you should be good, unless the government says you can't drive without Real ID. If interested in the human chain, write me.

yep you got me there, there are many people still in extreme poverty in China and I didn't knew that about India I need to read more. but change is not always so bad I guess, we are not ready yet.

Ha!! China is only growing because we have sold ourselves out to them.The only reason India is growing is because AMERICAN corps outsource to them & educate them.There are only a few places in China that have growth & the poor are NOT getting work like the media would have you believe.America must stop globalizing(selling out) to remain strong.

It is a good deal from economic perspective, but most people see the economy as instrument to benefit the wellbeing of people, not as a means to itself. They don't want to sacrifice their ideals and wellbeing for a slightly better tool when the one they allready have works just fine.
