Your question is very generic and you would need to research the entire ibo culture in Nigeria as a whole to have that answered. However if you try with History department in Nsukka or any other higher institution you may be lucky to find if any one's covered that area of research. That's a start. @belemaful I hate all these western categories for Africans but Igbo are not Bantu Some on the border with Cross Rivers have Bantu blood but the groups considered bantu in Nigeria are Ibbibios, Tiv etc bantu groups actually are only on the border with Cameroun.Igbos are sometimes considered proto Bantu. Maybe Igbo groups mixed with pygmies to form the so called bantu groups. Otherwise Igbo are mostly a sudanic group like most kwa language speakers. Again I dont really agree with these labels.
