  • Volume two of my book 'Motorcycle Safety and Dynamics' tells you how to learn how to carry a passenger as well as how to educate / control them.

  • Ok I have no Idea how I got here but seriously all I want is a couple of pointers I have a niece that is dyeing to ride with me but I have no clue in how to drive with a passenger, I've never done it before' So is there some kind of dummy you can purchase to place on the backseat hahaha, so to test to see if it falls its not safe yet kinda like to practice hahaha I'm joking although SOMEONE SHOULD COME UP WITH THAT!;D anyone if you read this comment please reply thanks!

  • This guy is a bit of a cock end. Any biker with a brain will be able to take controls if the main rider has a heart attack and conveniently falls with their head resting on the dials.

  • Inane video.

  • good point check out this video, motorcyclepassengercomfort strap

  • good point

  • My wife won't drive, so I have too...

  • There are way's to save your life if you know them then you just might save your life along with whoever's . will you get hurt ..... more than likely but at the end of the day you WILL be alive ! And hurt and ALIVE is alway's better than dead !

  • @Herbymac0811 how do you know this? did someone who died tell you that he/she felt worse being dead than injured but alive?

  • @hootini88 Realy, realy ? I would rather be hurt knowing if I fallow my traing I might baybe just come out of it alive, rather than be dead ! i would rather be broken and bleeding than be dead, anyone would rather be hurt and live through it than just be dead ! If you come off that bike on the road no matter what you do it gonna hurt and hurt bad. A slim chance of servivale is always beter than no chance at all !

  • @Herbymac0811 well, this may be a point. Happy New Year and wide turns anyway. Bikes for life!!!

  • @hootini88 Happy new year !

  • wow! good point! i just learned something myself and I havent even taken the MSF

  • that old geezer talking is fucking retarded, talking so much shit that is incorrect

  • That man looks like he fought in the revolutionary war

  • hahahahaha so true

  • I've been riding a Harley for a few years now and I will never have a passenger on board my bike. I've survived two accidents and that is the reason why.

  • I doubled on my friend's dirtbike once. You're not supposed to, but it was only a tiny distance. I have to say, it SUCKED, my legs all cramped up. I'm only 15, but I plan on getting a nice little beginner sport bike. I am never, ever going to carry a passenger, or be a passenger, for that matter. It just sucks, for both the passenger and the driver, because the driver really isn't able to connect with the passenger on when to lean, as the passenger doesn't have the same feel as the driver.

  • haha the dude at 0:48 is like "what ever man"

  • I love how young kids always have an answer. Im only 25 but have grown up a great amount. Slow Down, Look, Listen and stop acting like you know everything. Training is important. Too many stupid drivers out on the road. Think twice and remember that the other person on the road has friends and family just like you do.

  • I don't think my passengers will ever have to worry about an 18 year old like me getting a heart attack.... He's old.. lol

  • lets hope not but there are enough young football players die ing on the field becouse of a heart attack...

  • lol, this guy is crazy. I tell all my passengers, "if you get scared tap my leg and ill let you off, if you fuck around back there ill stop and kick you off"

  • that is if the driver doesn't fall over taking the bike with him. I dunno how realisitic it is to say that he's could fall off or slump over and the bike will just keep going straight.

  • I always scare the shit out of my passengers!

  • yeah i always find it fun to do that

  • Who is this guy? we could use him for a lecture at a motorbike meetup or event.

  • Buncha old geezers having heart attacks while riding lol

  • i would Never take a passenger who has depends

  • Interesting, but I don't think that heart attacks are a major cause of motorcycle accidents XD

  • crevent45,

Actually, you have the right idea but it's clear you lack training and you insist that being 11 is a handicap. Whether you are 11 or 55 years old the way to save your life in that situation is the same: reach forward, get hold of both grips, then SQUEEZE BOTH LEVERS.

You squeeze the right lever to brake and you squeeze the left lever to disconnect the engine from the rear wheel. The bike will slow down and finally stop - and THEN it will fall over.

  • I ride an abs bike, advice for passanger. "so you know, this is the break this the clutch pull both to stop"

  • ok me have one question... Im a 11 year old what if my dad gets pulled off the bike what do i wanna do... Im gonna kill it the first chance i get and if i can im going to try to get on the brakes

  • ive thought the same thing... im 14, but you probably will be arrested for riding a bike with no licesnce, insurance, ect,ect

  • seems pretty far fetched!

  • It's not far fetched! My husband has been a biker for over 40 years. Last year he had a heart attack - and it could have easily happened while he was on his bike. Since then, I have decided to learn how to drive a motorcycle - 'just in case'.
