Can i get an opinion? Should i get the HD collection for PS3 for xbox? I play both an equal amount, i think it would be weird to not play metal gear on a play station, but my friends play on xbox.

@Polskii77 i would say ps3 because the collection is all on one disc unlike the xbox 360 version where there is 2 discs.

but if your friends play xbox and have xbox live, i would want to reccommed xbox 360 so you can play with them.

if neither of your friends have the game for xbox 360, then i reccommend ps3 version

@Renneskid Exactly my first thoughts on the game when I first watched my friend play it. Now, after playing plenty of MGS recently, I am proud to say there's massive amounts of gameplay!! The replayability is incredible! Not only that, the player has the choice to skip cutscenes.

@krukrous that may be the chronological order but it's not the way they were meant to be played. Even the creator Mr.Kojima has said this. If you haven't played the first two a lot of the cutscenes and dialogue will go right over your head because you won't know what they saying. Trust me, PLEASE PLAY THE FIRST TWO FIRST!!! You owe it to yourself. LOL

I like how they mixture real life with games, like the major telling snake to climb the tree pressing the action button or explaing other mechanisms of the game. Like he is accepting that this is just a game.

In other games they would just make some text appear under the screen to show what a button does or maybe they would do something else, but in every case separating the game itself from it's tutorial.
