I'm afraid that you have your economics backwards. Solar energy (for example) is much more expensive than gas, coal, or petroleum. the world is motivated by price more than anything else, and the energy companies know that. They will sell us what we want, which is cheap energy. It is society that chooses this, and it always has. There are very few people that willingly pay more for something because of the environmental impact.

Eh, enough about economics, it was a great video and very moving.

The only reason fossil fuels are cheaper is because we've been using it the longest and have invested countless billions in it's refinement through research and development. Providing equal funding and time to the development and application of alternative fuels and energy will yield more efficient, cost effective, and healthier energy for commercial use.

Very nice job, so expressive, this video tells the reality of all the humans, poors, richs and middle class, who are trapped in a routine, misery. I can only see the materialism in this world, im not saying aboyt technology, who is vital to eliminate all the boring and repetitive jobs of production, we're like ants. I think all of you have the wrong interpretation of this song. This is an interpretation of feeling trapped inside of himself. This is NOT social, everyone thinks that their state, city, house, or life is a prison, but in reality, it is how the life is lead. Prisons of the mind also have nothing to do with the surroundings, but what is imprisoning the mind. Anything physical has nothing to do with it. And just for enfaces, it has nothing to do with where you live you close-minded idiots!
