They changed it completely now. Instead of giving mana over time. If the aspect of the viper is on you do 50% less damage but the damage you do is how much mana you recover...... make sense???????

u guys are acting like u need to keep viper on at all times.... just use hawk till ur almost out of mana then just put viper back up and lose 50 percent damage till its full again then go back hawk... simple as that XD

this will suck during raids tho. 50% dmg reduction? whats the point when a pally can slap on seal of wisdom. id rather lose 145 AP than lose 50% of my damage.

Yeah but in raids that little amount of damage usually doesn't matter that much. Its much more damage efficient to switch to viper when you're oom for a few seconds and being full mana rather than staying oom the rest of the fight and lowering your dps.

That's neat... means we can have virtually 0 downtime when farming... and in parties... a great way to mana up. Makes it a bit of a pain to drain down a hunter in PvP too (albeit at the cost of 50% damage output...)

It's settled, they have made hunters worth my time again, come LK, my hunter will be my first 80, followed by my warrior, and then a DK.
