  • These people are the real reasons for the British invasion.

  • Gerry's like "Phew!" Very cute and exciting video!!

  • Thank you for sharing this classic

  • OH Shit!!...Im old. I saw this in a drive in as a kid!!! It was the second feature by the way!

  • Someone hose down those girls!

  • Hey all the Dusty Springfield, Small Faces, Gerry and the Pacemakers fans have a look at: youtube(dot)com/profile?user=britishinvasiondvds#p/u/3/zrIWPjCk8Gw

  • Opinion, guys: is that Roy Orbison at 1:00?

  • @FatmanRich

    Definitely Roy.

  • @FatmanRich It sure looks like him without glasses. Unless he had a double in England and didn't know it lol

  • this innonce should b back again rather that the sexed up artists we have like Eminem,Xtina,Pink all crap!

  • I agree 100%. Music has died -the reason I listen to classic rock and blues because not one artist can offer me anything remotely decent to listen to.

  • @lthom33 if not died at least dried down rather badly. R&B brings piles of samples instead of original compositions while rock is full of retro and no show style. On the other hand there are whole genres of which formatted TV and radio know nothing of while talking of comeback after the artist has had writing/studio work going. That said 60's bands were honest in saying wanting the success instead of shoegazing.

  • All that' on the radio today is hip-hop, R&B and Rap. If Hitler were alive today, he would be in a rap band! I remember Jonie Mitchell @ the music awards stating Madonna had "ruined" music forever and she' right. The music is created, the voices are cleaned up, and they wear very little clothing and dance to promote because they can't sing. We're the generation of the 3 chord notes not like Ray Davie' "Autumn Almanac" which had 32 note changes. Do you know what I mean?

  • @lthom33 you are talking about MAINSTREAM music. There are hundreds of great artists out today WHATEVER your music taste is. It is up to YOU to seek it out. I haven't listen to the radio in 25 years yet I own 7000 albums and cd's. The computer is truth in music and in real news.

  • Yes and then no ;) I mean the song A Horse With No Name has only two chords :) TheJetfighter666, there is no reason why mainstream music should be autotuned-sampled-non melodic garbage. Just reading few comments on 70's-80's funk/discomusic reveals the need for e.g danceable driving melodious R&B i.e lack of decent songs nowadays.

  • that is the new James Bond playing drums... in his early days LOL

  • can some1 reply to me with a video containing this song, no ambiece and noices, and moves plz (x

    10x!!!

    p.s. songs pretty good

  • I'm pretty darned sure.....It's gonna be allright.

  • These guys were top-notch for the times, considering their competition.........they really bring back the memories

  • They truly embodied that wonderful, early Liverpool sound. Also, they seem like really nice blokes too.

  • The uniqueness of that Liverpool sound will never be repeated....it was in a league of its own

  • this aint better then the beatles but damn this is a great band like wow great

  • Better than the Beatles!

  • Beatles are absolutely top of the mountain.

  • Luckily not.

  • mersey is mersey.

  • And rock'n'roll is rock'n'roll.

  • sorry. i don't understand

  • Rock'n'roll, when it came, had a main goal: to let people relax after the tiring world of conservatism. To set the negative energy free. And people set it free. On the bands like The Beatles, The Pacemakers and so on. And women always had the smallest amount of freedom.

  • Who said the concerts of british merseybeat band were for listening? They were for setting the negative energy free. Youth was pressed by old generation. Women were mistreated by men. That's why girls wanted to kill Gerry and he had to be ready to give his life for his fans.

  • Interesting ideas.

    Sounds like a ritual sacrifice . . .

  • You're absolutely right.

  • I love the British Invasion!!!!!

  • hi everyone, dose anyone have this as an mp3 without live audience ? please send it to me

    joe

  • This is crazy. I like it. I saw them last week at Santa Monica Pier, CA, USA and they were fantastic live and Gerry can really sing live. It is worth seeing.

  • Wow, that's great to hear. I'm so glad Gerry is still rockin' it!

  • this was sixties at it's best

  • if I were a teenager back then, that would have been me fainting at the end...lol

  • Cool!

    :-)

  • I looove them.

  • Great song... great group!

  • groovy , very

  • crazy girls..now all grandmothers probably...

  • That period was incredible for music, The Renaissance for pop music, great groups and songs.

  • One of my favourite Gerry and The Pacemakers' songs ! I can listen to it over and over and I still love it !

  • Beautiful..Beautiful..Beautiful..Forever SIXTIES!!!!!!

  • Tell me these guys weren't having a great time doing this..........as with all the other bands of the time, I wish I was around back then to experience it all

  • I was around back then and it was the most incredible experience ever!! Best music ever!

  • I can beleive it was a great experience as it is great music, still sounding fresh today.

I love all the British Invasion Bands but the Beatles are the greatest.

    Thanks for your reply

    FR
