the title says : How to Use a Digital Camera : How To Take Night Photos .. YET THEY NEVER TELL YOU HOW TO REALLY DO IT.. even though i know. fucking take this vid off of youtube please, it miss leads people. Expert of noobs village, in Geekuage. i guess! (geek language or whatever NOOBS is what they are) they got ..not a fuckin clue of what their doin!
It seems this video is getting some very nasty reception, but for images presumably taken around 2007, they are actually not too bad. Perhaps its people's expectations being too up-to-date as I don't think 7D's or 550D's etc were out then!
hey just cause the camera is old doesn't mean it sucks i still use that camera and many of my pictures have came out just great everyone has these high megapixel and stuff but people still use film and it works great! most plp should be respecting these old cameras for they are the parents of the original ones we have today such as the canon EOS rebel, if this camera wasnt even inveted we couldnt even have what we canted today
In the interest of accuracy, you should change the title of this video to: "How to turn 2 minutes of wasted time into over 250 thousand minutes of collectively wasted time."
yeah...thanks dude! just put your camera on a tripod (or anywhere that will be steady), set it at long shutter speeds - exposure (it can be done manually on most slr's or with a specific preset option on some compacts). that allows the shutter to be open all that time collecting light from all sourses, thus it makes the photo look more luminous and the trails of moving lights are impressed. 5 to 30 seconds are enough for lightful areas, 1 minute or more for dark and the sky.
Well.. he actually explained how to take a night shot.. But he just went over it quick and assums you guys are understand your camera function already
yeah, and the captioning kinda splits my concentration apart. i don't know if i'll listen or read, since the caption moves fast, and states different things. i tend to replay the video and mute it.
Stupid vid, let's not forget that you can do so much better at night with 35mm SLR, too. No batteries (bulb) and complete control over the exposure. Expert Village, YOU SUCK
i got it. You basically have to leave your shutter open for about 5 to 15 seconds to capture as much light as possible with in that time frame, since in night photography there is little light to work with- you have to depend on small sources. Its a cool trick. But you do have to mess with settings and search for those settings in which ever type of camera you have, once you find them, those cool shots are very easy to take.
"Hi, I'm the expert village guy, look at this examples of all you can do with night photography... now fuck you and watch other videos to learn HOW TO take them"... yep, this is basically what this video says to me xD
there's nothing really expert in this village!!!! just full of CRAP!!!! i've seen a lot of expert village videos and really NOTHING REALLY HELPS!!!! nothing but CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! what a shame!!!!
YES! Expert Village is nothing but a BIG JOKE!!! wasting every poor people's precious time to worthless videos such as this one!!! youtube should removed all their videos.. seriously.
i didn't say i could do better videos than this.. just expressing my opinion. which as you probably see.. i share the same opinion of most of the people who commented on ur beloved Expert village videos. peace man!
Increase the length of your shutter speed which is generally editable on manual setting on any camera and support the camera by tripod or shock-resistant surfaces.
All other components and settings will change the effects (contrast, brightness, etc) of your photos but any lengthy shutter time will give you the trail of a cityscape photo as an example.
