  • yeah i seen 216 tho wasnt sure if it was 214 or 216 that must be a make up for them to be heading that direction?

  • It was a PFA call to the Latimer Hotel for 211, 214, 217 and 216 which came in right after the call for 2116, but because 211 was taking the hazmat to Hornby 231 was added to the Latimer Hotel job.

  • Well doh i never saw 216 until the 2nd time around :P

  • I am surprised no one has noticed 216 in the distance turning into Barbadoes St heading to a different job. I thought some of my regular viewers would have noticed that :-)

  • I did

  • the first vehicle, im guessing the siren unit is made by Nautech Electronics in New Zealand. They make siren units up for NZ Police, Ambulance fire service and rural fire. also it says Incident Support Unit, so im guessing cause it carries equipment to support personnell at the incidents. don't always take advantages of callsigns such as 2116.

  • So odd hearing a police siren on a fire appliance!

  • how odd for an osu to head to gass leek

  • 2116 is the Hazmat and Salvage Tender for Christchurch.

  • tahnks for clearing that up so the new cu isnt used as a hazmat tender tho its makred up as 1

  • the new cu is rigged to carry all the Hazmat pods that are needed, but for the moment the support vehicle holds them until the role of the command unit is fully finalised. when it gets back from its upgrade that is.
