That hardly matters when you have A lineup that includes Kobe,Artest,Pau,lamar and Bynum... Seriously think of that lineup it's the biggest in the league and definitely a lot more physically imposing with artest checking your best scorer and even some PG's.

Artest was only ejected for two games, and both times the lakers had huge leads. The 1st one it was in game 2 and the lakers had a 10pt lead in the 4th and Artest goes right up to Kobe and continues to pursue him.. that ejection was legit.
The second one was a bit fishy. I did not like the call but it was in the 4th quarter with less than a minute left after he fouled gasol agressively. It didn't warrant an ejection.
But both ejections really did not effect the game at all, the lakers had commanding leads and were going to win the game. Artest was not suspended for any game so get your shit straight pal.

That hardly matters when you have A lineup that includes Kobe,Artest,Pau,lamar and Bynum... Seriously think of that lineup it's the biggest in the league and definitely a lot more physically imposing with artest checking your best scorer and even some PG's.
I also don't see a problem at the PG position farmar was playing fine till the injury he was off and on after that I'm expecting a bounceback year considering next year is his contract year and shannon stepped in admirably.

Artest was only ejected for two games, and both times the lakers had huge leads. The 1st one it was in game 2 and the lakers had a 10pt lead in the 4th and Artest goes right up to Kobe and continues to pursue him.. that ejection was legit.
The second one was a bit fishy. I did not like the call but it was in the 4th quarter with less than a minute left after he fouled gasol agressively. It didn't warrant an ejection.

First of all, when Artest was playing against us (Lakers) in the playoffs...of course we didn't like him, he's was the OPPONENT for crying out loud! Nobody in Lakerland roots for the opponent, just like every other team. Secondly, I think Artest will make the Lakers better defensively. Still can't believe Ariza left, but hey, the NBA is a business.

i don't see any reason that this move won't work. Artest is a better defender than Ariza, better scorer, more experienced, and tougher.
