What a beautiful song about this important time in England's (and the world's) history at the end of World War II. It's a telling of one man's story that resonates with thousands of lives. It really bring a tear to my eyes. I work with veterans and know how deeply the war and its end affected them.

Chris deBurgh is one of my favorite artists; saw him live twice in the early 80's. He has a lot of amazing songs(the Traveller, Something Else Again, the Getaway, Carry On, etc.) but this has to be his best. I love the guitar at 4:15!
