@r3korgr3korg There a was 3 part documentary on tv about Diana and this is the music played when they showed her funeral. Guess that's why. Fantastic piece of music.
What a beautiful song about this important time in England's (and the world's) history at the end of World War II. It's a telling of one man's story that resonates with thousands of lives. It really bring a tear to my eyes. I work with veterans and know how deeply the war and its end affected them.
A great sequel to borderline, regardless of which side they were on ppl lost lives sacrifced so much, let us not judge what the common soldier did, the majority were conscripted, had no choice, it was the idiot fanatics that caused atrocities not the common foot soldiers, they fought for what they thought was right and have to live with thier consciences
How come discussions under music videos often turn into sth completely irrelevant to the vid or the music?! This is neither about war nor about America or Britain or fighting at all. Let's just listen to the music, for god's sake!
@ytcarol I disagree. I t may be about war, but I don't think the message of it is to get into endless, pointless discussions on youtube with clueless, uneducated people. I think that's a waste of time.
(I don't mean you specifically, just all the people who are fighting for months under such videos with complete strangers, of which some still seem to be on fith grade level...it's ridiculous.)
@quo33 that is a silly question. nobody knows whether it is a video or not until they start watching it and once you start watching you see whether it is or not and form your opinion of it from that.
Dammit! Let's stop the America Bashing for a while all right. I'm half American and Half Scottish, as far as WW2 is concerned Britain fought in Europe and America in Asia.

Now we need your help and you owe it to us. We'll see how this all works out, but don't think we'll let Obama make the decisions.

Chris deBurgh is one of my favorite artists; saw him live twice in the early 80's. He has a lot of amazing songs(the Traveller, Something Else Again, the Getaway, Carry On, etc.) but this has to be his best. I love the guitar at 4:15!
Do you have a problem with reality? This song speaks of the sacrifice of war. Why don't you go find reality Jessaia? Is that a name? How old are you? What do you know of history? I think your the one that needs a reality check!!!!! >:(
Does anyone here realize what occured in this story? It was known as WWII. People sacrificed their lives and video games and iPods and everything else to stay free! Will you selfish greenie do-gooders do the same against radical Islam and the Russians who have recently aligned themselves with them? I hope so but think not. Will Obama stand up to aggresion? Not likely. We are seen as "weak" allready. What then when the weaker take over? Or are they really weak? Where do their interests lie?
You are entitled to your opinion, but so am I. Your thoughts on this are seriously twisted. Look what 8 years of sabre rattling got us America, and by virtue of their influence, the world. No thanks.
Yes I do believe in freedom of speech. You do have yours for now. That right was given to you by God in our constitution. As bad as the Bush gang was, it is now quite apparent that the powers roaming the white house now are far more dangerous. They pee on the constitution regularly. It is simply a nuisance to them. You had better get over blaming Bush for everything and wake up to reality friend.
Interesting how you think YOUR God and YOUR constitution are the only authorities here. Typical American egocentricity. It's why most of the world has an issue with American's. I personally like most Americans, but too many of them are injecting their narrow-minded religion into politics and making things kinda scary for us non-Americans. The far right Christian Republicans are not that much different than the hard core Moslems they love to hate.
First of all, since your are not lucky enough to be a citizen of the United States of America, you do not have our rights. Secondly, I am not a Christian but agnostic. I do however accept and understand the context with which our founding fathers used the term "God given rights". They are granted by a higher power than man. Therefore, man cannot take them away. i.e. Marxists etc.
egocentricity? Oh I am so sorry that you feel this way towards Americans. Most of us are not like that at all, any more than most of the Muslims are not terrorists. Just some have given a bad name, like one rotten potato in a bag..Don't throw the rest of us out. We are good Christian loving people. This is why we fight to protect other countries and send food to feed their poor. It's Our God. Talk with someone who has experienced life after death and you too shall see the light.
