well spotthesteez does make a good point their advertising their snowmobile goggles with a helmet that is ment for downhill mountain biking, but he did over exaderate. and if i were advertising my snowmobile goggles i would show how they seal the space in between the goggle and the helmet, and not show snow flying into his mouth piece like at 2:17.

Well you guys and or some gals need to send me a pair of those googles!!!! cant say ive noticed them since i was enthused with the camera, maybe if i had those goggles i mite know how cool they really are, so in conclusion to my analization they should also be free and maybe the camera too and if yous feel really energetic, the sled too i guess for shlitz and giggles.!!!

That is a downhill mountain bike helmet. Snowmobilers wear them for extra ventilation and lightweight. 509 Aviators seal up excellent in a motocross style helmet, especially a 509 helmet. So the exposed skin is the result of the helmet design, not the goggles.

I get really hot at times and on sunny days will sometimes wear a Mtn Bike helmet to prevent over heating. Not recommended by by the OEM, but If were just carving pow. Check out my vid response to see just how well it seals when using a 509 helmet in conjunction with Aviator goggles.....seals so nice ;)

@SpotTheSteez Yeah that helmet is a Giro Remedy That I use for downhill biking and spring days on my sled. Really nice helmet but it is not designed for deep days. However I've been using it for a long time with a Klim balaclava under it and it works great.

well such goggles are ok, i got for dirtbiking smoky lenses which are like these but a mirror silver tint, thing is, i sometimes use them in winter on a sunny day, but as a all around goggle, there not good, on a darker cloudy day, it just makes stuff darker, and harder to see, so unless your riding in alotta sunshine, like them..... then i wouldnt recommend them

@snowbell01 They have replacement lenses...I just got mine with the helmet and i bought a clear lens replacement for night riding or dark days..they just pop in and out!

@snipz9024 oh sure, but diffrent tints of glass also works well like them blue ish tint they say they help the best during cloudy days, my goggles i gots have interchangable lenses,

changing the lens takes less than a minute and with replacements at only 20$ its easy to carry different tints for different conditions.

word of advice to a great company put up pictures on the website of the tints of the goggles so you can see what they look like before purchasing other wise they look so sweet
