Where should i live in denver or around their. im going to be an air traffic controller and i want to work at denver international airport. i love the city like being able to go to the malls and shop. but i just the same love the outdoors and fourwheeling and snow machining and offroading with my trucks. can someone help me out?
Anywhere in Denver is easy access to the mountains and all the outdoor activities. Since you're going to eb workign at DIA, you might want to live on the east side of town -- easier commute. One area to consider is the old Stapleton neighborhood, where the older airport used to be. It's now a nice suburban residential area, and just across I-70 (the highway to go to DIA) is a new mall. Plus, it's convenient to downtown and shopping in the east suburb of Aurora.
Most of downtown Denver these days is safe. There are now new condos being built all around the surrounding areas, so there's more and more people living in the downtown sector. The current hotspot is the area called the "Golden Triangle," south of downtown, starting from the ity and Cunty Building and the Art Museum/Library complex, and bordered by the diagonal Speer Blvd. It's a great city, and getting better all the time....
Nice contribution! What other places downtown are good to walk around? I've seen videos of other places downtown that look deserted and a little dangerous to walk around.
