Not hatin at all but no one runs 26 volts because most amps don't accept over 8 volts. Also the input gain on most class d amps has the lowest setting on the input gain to be in the 5-8 volt range. Therefore if you're running at 8-10 volts and your input gain has been adjusted up at all you're most likely sending a clipped signal to your amp.
@purehatred100 I was just showing what my line driver could do. I run it at 9 volts on rca input. And the gain on my amplifiers are less than halfway. I got this bro. But thanks for the intellectual input. And sorry for the delayed response.
why when i try to see what volts my rcas are getting, i get nothing on the dmm lol..wtf..and when i try to see how many volts my amps getting, im gett like 5V..cant be right
@drek75633 instead of splicing i might be able to pop the caseing in conect the second 1 in it other wise do you hav any ideas other wise i just set them to full match my amps and control it from the headunit
@Drek75633 yeah i was planning on matching the gains i just want it so when i turn the dial both amps are sync so i dont get any cancelation from the mojos
hey man u just subscribed and i was wonderin the 2 ev5000d amps im gettin come with a gain control each am i able to splice the two into 1 control so i dont have to try and match the levels evertime i turn em up
ammm, why didn't you look just at bridge voltage between + and +?
are are you running one amp per coil, not bridge?
If you would have same output ground, you could just put DMM betweet + and +, and try to get 0.0v between them, since the outputs are in phase, since you dan't have them bridged
@First2ner amps are strapped. The negative of the subwoofer goes to the postive output of the amp (slave amp) and the positive of the subwoofer goes to the positive output of the amp (master amp)
@mrchoppaboy 17V max I dont know if hes really doing that much Voltage, I could be wrong but that sounds Dangerous, and This system reads at 14 Volts alot.
are all those bmf 1700 cause those are some crazy amps

@sikvibration Yes you can splice the knobs. But. The wire is the size of hair. I'm a skilled solderer but damn.

@sikvibration even if you do splice the gain controls (which is pausible) You would still have to gain match the two amplifiers.

gfhnk 1 year ago
@gfhnk That's what my rca voltage can do. I only use 5 v of the 26v
Drek75633 1 year ago
@mrchoppaboy Oh wait you mean his RCA Volts? Dam that would be a shit ton. Mine is a 6V or so LOL!
gfhnk 1 year ago
@gfhnk lol it sounds scary
mrchoppaboy 1 year ago
@mrchoppaboy Most systems only have 2volts on the rca.
Drek75633 1 year ago
Good vid , I didnt know you needed it that Precise. I just turn the knobs untitl they look perfect.
gfhnk 1 year ago
@gfhnk well. Well. One of my amps gain shows less than halfway. Another shows over halfway. Amps of tge same kind put out differently
Drek75633 1 year ago
@Drek75633 Well ya I meant Until Both Woofers Are moving Perfectly together, Not the gain knobs! lol, Your funny Dreck.
gfhnk 1 year ago
@gfhnk Well subs move so fast you really can't use your eye to gain match amps.
Drek75633 1 year ago
hay drek u said u have audacity u can go on that and make a 35hz tone for like 20min if u want pm me and i can explain

i was wondering i wanna run a highs amp in my car and ive only got one rca output on my cd player how do u reccomend me doing this?
nextrider123 1 year ago
@nextrider123 you have to get a rca splitter.
cool3be 1 year ago
I thought amps could only so much voltage to their inputs before distortion happens. like 8v or something
mporettim 1 year ago
@mporettim I only run 5v on rca to my amps. But it can do 26 volts
