great video. never thought about using one as a freezer. if one were building a monolithic dome as a home already would you recommend just insulating a room to use as a freezer or would you recommend using a separate structure like this?
One of the reasons that the cabin works so well, is the thermal battery effect you get from the concrete walls. So, the separate structures would be better.
Then build the rest of the house around the cabin. Make these large enough to be a main bedroom or living room and you have a great home one that can withstand a massive blow and you are safe while sleeping if a freak tornado happens along at night.
