At that moment (4:27)Todd Brunsun had not actually seen Farha's hand, he only "knew" that Farha told him he had 9s and 6s, but there was always the chance that Farha could not have told him the truth, hence his comment "unless you have a diamond"...

@MrTritratralla He's beating Q8s and the draws you mentioned, and against Sammy getting get 2/1 it's nearly standard. If you were folding top pair av. kicker to Sammy's checkraises you get killed long term.
