  • This extraordinary machine—from the epoch of "crema cafe naturale—can use very finely ground espresso beans because of its extremely small piston bore (36mm). But, I think you need to improve your technique! Your brew has virtually no crema. If you keep your hands on the handles & slightly add pressure upward as the machine is extracting, you will be able to double or triple the pressure at the piston, thus resulting in a thick velvety crema. Don't exert too much pressure, it can bend piston cap
