Pollution, abortion and pedophilia,and genetic engineering are OBVIOUSLY sins in the eyes of the Church. So the real reason they are instituting all of this is to mix in the obvious ones that they don't even need to define, with these ambiguous ones like pollution and social injustice and being rich- which can be used to simply control the masses for the purpose of governments because they can be defined as anything. Those are the ones about power- aren't Biblical- and you need to watch out for.
Oh and "anger" is not a deadly sin. It was "wrath" that you were referring to. Everyone knows that Jesus became very angry at the money changers at the temples for using God as a way to steal money from people. Anger is just as it is righteous.
