  • @charulucky9 its works for certain cake including chocolate but for certain kinds.. which i cant help you with it wont so just make a chocolate cake in a microwave if you want its very popular on youtube

  • I made this and it's so good! So easy and full of flavor. I served mine with vanilla yogurt and walnuts since I didn't have whipped cream and it was fantastic!

  • @priyaprabhakar2007 I think the juice is directly from the pineapple which makes it hecka sweet... but in any other case without natural juices (blended juice etc) you will need sugar

  • hi, i m not a professional but a regular with cooking. i have used this recipe on different occassions. i noticed sum tinned pinapples are (probably because of the sugar syrup quality ) inherently bitter in taste, specially wen cooked coz the sugar gets charred. try changing ur brand of pinapples. as for the unsalted butter, u can try nutralite or margarine or even oil.doesnt affect the recipe much

    loved ur cake, I have tried it and it was so delicious lasted only a a few seconds:-)) we ate it up so fast!!!!!!!!!! was soft, and turned out perfect used self raising flour so easy and so good, please post in more fat free, oil free and sugar free recipes for me as am supposed to be on a diet:-((

  • you can use fresh pineapple after dicing the pineapple add 2 to 3 spoons of sugar and let it sit for an hour before using.

  • Sanjusb2010 - Baking powder is more important than the soda. You will be ok just using the powder. The powder does most of the rising. The soda just reduces some of the acidity.

    I tried this recipe tonight and it was very nice. The cool whip on top is a great touch as well. Thanks for the recipe.

    Cardamom that u used, is it the green one or black cardamom?

    and instead of cardamom powder can we make from round cardamom, then crush it? because i couldn't find cardamom powder in indian store?

  • I use green cardamom and yes you can grind the whole cardamom and use.

  • dats coolwhip (whipped cream)--found in the frozen section --u cud also make ur own whipped cream--gently beat cream in a glass bowl till the peaks hold a little!
