@charulucky9 its works for certain cake including chocolate but for certain kinds.. which i cant help you with it wont so just make a chocolate cake in a microwave if you want its very popular on youtube

Thanks aunty for the wonderfu recipe.I just wanted to ask that though my cake came out really well my batter was slightly runny unlike yours that looks stiff.I thought that a cake was slightly more moist than required.Where could i have gone wrong?

hi, i m not a professional but a regular with cooking. i have used this recipe on different occassions. i noticed sum tinned pinapples are (probably because of the sugar syrup quality ) inherently bitter in taste, specially wen cooked coz the sugar gets charred. try changing ur brand of pinapples. as for the unsalted butter, u can try nutralite or margarine or even oil.doesnt affect the recipe much

Sanjusb2010 - Baking powder is more important than the soda. You will be ok just using the powder. The powder does most of the rising. The soda just reduces some of the acidity.

you can use fresh pineapple after dicing the pineapple add 2 to 3 spoons of sugar and let it sit for an hour before using.
