I totally agreed with you. I would rather pay high tax to get free health care if that does help a lot of people that I would do it. You're right, it is not fair and no it is not same as long time ago. Greedy is in the way that what affects anyone who cannot afford it.

Pt. 2 : We need to THINK analytically, rather than emotional knee-jerk reactions. Look at the evidence piled up around you! Our way is lacking right now, "there's" is even worse. How is that a solution? Do more REAL research (no Michael Moore doesn't count as credible research)

Not denying the need for health care REFORM, but can you imagine an option btwn what exists now, and totally handing our health care to the gov't? Have you noticed how badly the govt manages anything it touches? Have you looked at the countries that now practice socialized medicine (France, Cuba, etc) and how they have failed? Learn from those who have gone before us...America shld be more innovative. There is nothing 'progressive' abt doing what has failed many times before. .

Educate yourself on Cuba and how "lucky" the people are first. If their doctors are so good, why do wealthy Cubans (including Castro) come here for medical care? You want to be "provided for, taken care of"...look to see the price that has to be paid with freedom first.

Friends of mine, live in cuban, he said that he stayed in US for couples years and hate it here because of health care. He said that most of them treated poor people badly and doesn't care about their needs so he decide to move back and he did emailed me time to time and said he is very happy in cuba and don't want move back in us but will visit from time to time. There are very smart doctors than in US. Very high intelligences. I am sure there is very few ones in US.

it is really sad that USA have to do that people like us. United we stand... I thought it means amaerican stick together and help each other? Canada also free too. Actually most country are free medicals unlike USA. I wonder when they start to finally realize that they should provide free to people in USA as well?

I'm from Argentina and here the Health Care System is free. The first time that I've heard that you have to pay for everything in the States I could understand why. |..|/

Honestly, I wish I am in other country. I worry about my kids all the time because they refused to provide what my kids need. I look at the USA goverment is very cruel to people. I call them black hearted. Most of other countries, I called good heart. They cares about people than money.

You can be in another country. Unlike some other countries, no one is forcing you to stay. So why are you still here?

Yes, I am forced to stay in US. I can go to jail for kidnapping my own kids. Their father said NO I can't take my kids out of country. Also passport isn't cheap. It is very costly to get passport for me and four kids. I am guessing about almost a thousand dollars which I don't have that kind of money to do that. Like I said I can't be out of country..U.S.A. isn't freedom as people think it is.

Just to be clear, when you say "they" don't provide what your kids need, understand your expecting the rest of us to provide...that's where USA govt GETS the money. YOU are expected to provide for your children.

I am talking about goverment (they) not the people like us... I don't expect people to pay for us ... I expect the government do that. So many people in US lost their jobs and lost their homes because of health insurance hurts them plus owed debt for health bills that cause them to lose their home. They can't support their kids either. I felt bad for them too because I understood.

Again, when you say "gov't", you mean THE PEOPLE...us. The money comes from us, our taxes. WE pay for social programs.

I pay taxes too. The reason why I said government is because they are not doing their part. The people like us have to pay the insurance which we cannot afford. Paying insurance also paying taxes too. Long time ago, people weren't focus on money. They were focus on people's health and try to help each others. It is really sad that insuracne have to be so high that people cannot get help for this and it hurts a lot of people.
