I found this highly educational: Now I know how it looks when it is dieing of old age vs. a disease that may effect my other pets. I had a chilean rose that died about a week after a molt. refused food and water. It had the most docile temperament of anything I had ever seen. The rose I have now wont really let me hold her or anything, shes not aggressive at all, just wont come to me and when she does, she keeps trying to go back to her terrarium

WRONG! the tarantula was a mature male and dying of a very common illness called....OLD AGE, lightly poking it had nothing to do with it, the author simply wanted to show us how a tarantula slows as it dies, i have 7 tarantulas myself and now know what to expect when they start to die

He recorded it dyign so he could post an informative video for tarantula keepers. Someone may own many T's and never see one die. It is the circle of life and that's how it goes. Know what to expect and be prepared. Great video. Sorry for your loss. (Awesome looking spider, One of my Fav's)
