@stephenwhite78 This album is NOT at iTunes. You may have to opt for the CD which is also now out of print. May have to buy it used for $2 from Amazon.
I don't know about you guys but I'm sick & tired of all these crybaby hair metal fans & their "woe is me...Nirvana & grunge killed rock & metal" crap. I'm a metalhead & like a lot of 80's rock & metal but this is straight ahead rock imo.
The way I see it...rock is rock & this song will be classic rock someday.
@bucky468 nirvana and alice in chains which you call grunge got alot of music started so say what you will but they were both talented and if you didnt like them i bet they have had influience on someone you do like
@MuayThai8548 You obviously didn't read my post correctly. If you ever went to a Motley Crue, Whitesnake, LA Guns, Cinderella, Skid Row, Quiet Riot, Iron Maiden or Bon Jovi thread you'd see that a lot of ppl are blaming Nirvana & grunge for the demise of 80's hair metal. Even some musicians of that subgenre like Vince Neil, Don Dokken & Tracii Guns are saying how much they detest grunge. I'm NOT defending those guys or the shallow minded idiots who blame grunge. That was the truth & nothing but.
@MuayThai8548 BTW I like AIC & Nirvana (mostly the Grohl yrs.) I don't agree w/hair metal fans who are pissed off at grunge "raining" on their parade & I also like some of the good hair bands like Tesla, Kix, Ratt, Damn Yankees, Great White, Whitesnake, Skid Row, Ugly Kid Joe, Blue Murder & all the others who had REAL talent. Vince Neil (& maybe even Nikki Sixx) needs to get over it like Tommy Lee did...enough already!!! It was time for something new.
@davestheman83 I agree 1996 was a really good year in music, but the real revolutionary year was 1992! And 1990, with Alice in chains, and Soundgarden aving the way for the whole thing
This song is awesome for what it is. Were these guys as good as Nirvana, PJ, AIC, Soundgarden, STP, etc? No but I love this riff. I heart 90's music!

This reminds me of the AOR music that was dominating the airwaves during the early 90's.

one of the sickest chords during the 90s!
this has to be tied with Elastica's Connection...

Elastica took that riff from the Wire song "Ex-Lion Tamer" on their album Pink Flag from 1977. Great song/album/band
