thank you so much for posting this great idea! Now I can finally actually get good coffee out of my Senseo! one additional hint: I found that I could cut about a half-inch off the circumference of the filters so that they did not bunch up so thickly on top of the pod.
@Omaaar true, but even just a little trimming makes for a less bunching. Once you find the optimal amount, you could cut out a plastic template to draw a circle, then cut out 5-6 at time.
This technique works perfectly. You will have to find your own device nto make the pods i'n since evenryone doesn't own the same set of measuring cups. I used to top from a canister of "Fresh 'n' Easy" generic brand of loose tea leaves. You should be able to use a Republic of Tea canister. To get the maximum coffee flavor I recommend using the double pod holder for a single demi-tasse(4 0z.) cup.
