dokic wouldve made the final if she'd made like one less unforced error in that final set with safina, who was as tense as hell. zvonareva wouldnt have kept up with the pace against jelena in the semi, and her mental weakness wouldve given dokic the win easily. dokic wouldve done so much better than safina did against serena.

what did molik do that was so great todosbien ? She won 5 singles titles including tier 1 title at zurich beating 4 consecutive top ten players and at sydney(tier2). Reached the quarterfinal of the 05 Australian open losing a tight match to davenport 9/7 in the third (umpire cheated to make davenport win). Got to a career high ranking of 8 before she was robbed of it all with an inner ear infection which affected her balance and put her out of the game for almost a year. never really recovered.

I'm so pissed about the loss to Safina she really had her chances to get ahead and i believe she could have won the tournament with the support of australia. but at least she's back healthy and doing what she loves, and away from her tyrant father. good luck Jelena

Just to win the 2nd round was an awesome effort after what she's been through these last few years, but to win the 3rd round as well against the 11th best player in the world proves that she not only has she been working hard at her game but she also means business.
