what does the starter box exactly do? because i saw you push something into the motor head too. i run electric RC cars so Im new to nitro.

@jrgolfer the starter box starts the motor by rotating the flywheel. What I pushed into the motor was the ignitor, You have to heat the glow plug down in the motor to start it.

@leeescott Hahaha! That was my cell phone going off, lol! As far as set up, I ran straight from the box with 25% nitro. I recommend replacing the shock caps with aluminum ones, and I use 25% nitro on all mine. Thanks for the compliment!

It's all stock set up. I think I stiffened up the rear shocks. Top speed not sure... maybe 40-42.

I definitely recommend this, especially if you plan to race. 1 day after beak-in I placed 5th in the A main out of about 15 or 16 truggy racers. So I say yeah!

I found that on the losi 454 they call for 2 and a half turns out on the high speed needle, but, it needs atleast 3 and a half.

Why is the toe-in at 1:40 facing way in on the rear wheels and facing out on hthe front wheels.....just curios if it came that out of the box or if you adjusted it that way for a reason ? Wtat camber set-up are you running ? I'm running -1 degrees in the front and -2 degrees in the rear on my LST2. How come I never heard it hit 2nd ?

Nice car I,ve got the same controller for my Hyper and the signal is not that great. Loses signal and the failsafe kicks in on the reciever. I'm using 4.8v in the controller with 6.0v in the car. Thinking of getting rid of my hyper st pro and getting the race roller version. Are the shocks easy to tune ie are they adjustable. Put some more videos up of this thing looks great.

Thanks! Yes, the shocks are fully adjustable. Tha car is real nice at the track. The only time the failsafe kick on for me is when the motor temp goes beyond what I have it set for. Then after it cools it kicks back in. I'll post more video soon.

Not at all, just the throttle servo. I changed to a Futaba high torque servo and haven't had a problem yet!
