An awesome and inspiring set up - thank you for sharing! You mentioned taking the peppers outside - do you plant your veggies in a soil garden once they've grown in your garage grow room?
you prob have the most impressive systems for small room i have ever even heard of. this here is inspirational to all us indoor pepper/vegetable growers
I'm sure once upon a time cannabis was as staple a food as these here do to its robust strength and high edible flower output , but this is beautiful nonetheless
@tessaring , tomato cuttings are one of the easiest plants to root. No rooting hormone is needed. Just stick them in moist potting soil and in 3-5 days you have roots!
Do you break even or profit from this little endeavor? I often think I'm destined to become a father (never thought I would love growing things so much)
I have a large plant stand with six 40 watt tubes. only growing violets. I start my seeds there for summer veggies but have to wait til it warms up outside(which is like forever) before growing season starts. I would like to get a year round headstart. Your idea to use your garage for a greenhouse is inspiring! Will try! Good Luck and thanks so much for sharing ideas.
oh crap..i fergot to mention the moral o that story...inside ur house the heat is kinda free, i mean u need it for ur azz anyway right..but the light is $,,whereas outside the light is free but its cold as crap in winter...and boltin hot in midsummer...anyway..i found...indoors its easier to maintain a stable grow enviroment yearound and its easier (and hellatiously more cost effective) to bring light inside than it is to bring heat& airconditioning outside!!!!!peace
nice man...i built a greenhouse outside an went roun an roun on heatin and coolin till i ended up back in my basement, lmao..so ya ..i like ur shxt...i'll post ya a vid on my vertical vegetable wall indoor grow sometime. peace
@green6400 , it's worth it if you love it. That's what some people don't understand. This is my hobby. If I have to pay $50 a month for electricity, who cares. A lot of people (me included) spend more than that on a round of golf. BTW, definitely making more than $50 a month :-)
@happygameshow , Thanks! It's the start of my new business. It's called Urban Garden. I'm starting at ground zero and working to build it as big as possible.
How are you starting the lettuce seed for the DWC? Looks great
