IMO what really sets LoTR apart from other Fantasy Movies is how succesfully it immeresed you into tolkeins world. Each character has his own flaws that they must overcome or face certain doom. And unlike most fantasy movies every decision by every character feels extremely real in terms of the sacrifices they choose to make and where their alligences lay.

Just because there wasn't a fight every 5 minutes doesn't make it a bad movie at all. I really enjoyed getting into the story, and explain to me how the hell it was dumb?!

This is the only book to movie film that I actually enjoyed reading the books more, really disappointed with how shitty and overrated these movies are. Pans Labyrinth is the best on this list.

Love Lord of the Rings. One of my favourite trilogies. The others are Toy Story, Back to the Future, Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars Original Trilogy and Indiana Jones.

I really don't get why they couldn't have made Harry Potter 4-7 as good as 3. After 2 films, they got the format right for the films but they messed it up after that. Not saying the others are bad. Just not as good as 3
