i just got these exact subs today. i actually had to remove my trunk hatch and bottom plastic cover and place the sub box sideways and literally back up and ram it 20 times just to get it in. i have no idea how im going to get them out... BTW i have 01 4 door integra....i dont know how u got these into your honda if they fit easy or u had to shove them em. but my question is. is there any way to take apart the box to make the removal of them easier in the future or is the box all pinnd tgether

dam i remember i had that same set up, but with a jackhammer 1200 watt amp. i had it good then i let this dude hear it and he turned everything up and  it fucking blew my subs :( and they set off alarms!!! now like 4 months later and im fixing to buy me 4 of them and make a big ass box for them.with 4 i can wire them down to 1 Ohm , im not gonna blow them this time :)

man mtx jack hammers handle 400 watts peak so with 2 thats 800 watts peak and 2 kicker comp 12s thats only 600 watts and kickers blow easier who agrees with me??

skatecodered, it doesn't matter how much power it can handle. what determines the volume of a sub is the size and the XMAX. Xmax is a measurement of how far a subs cone can travel. the further a cone travels, the louder it will be. and in fact, this particular sub and a kicker comp both have 9.5 mm of excursion. which means they're just as loud. but MTX is my favorite.

See i had an MTX 5500 Thunder which gave to 300 rms about, and my amp was the same serious which was only pushing out 400. But i have had friends blow their kickers out before i even heard a tiny bit of distortion soo but thats my opinion and im sure other would disagree...

if the seats are sealed from the trunk, then there is probably 50% less bass, and 50% more rattle.
