  • what a solo!!

  • I love this album.

  • sounds kind of like a southside johnny song with the horns and melody, anybody agree? jersey locals probably know what im talking about.

  • i only like it from 3.39 properly, think its amazing then onwards, but not to keen on the rest, annoying i want t love it all :)

  • OMG!!! i lurv this sng SOO much! it maks me feel rly hapy on th inside!!!!!

  • Awesome, I've been listening to this all morning. This is one of those songs u wish u wrote.

  • nope theres a differance between the raconteurs and linkin park. well ya see linkin park is a bunch of talentless morons and the raconteurs are all around awsome.

  • this song kicks A**. hell yea, but its true ya know so its like a wake up call.

  • The Album Consolers of the Lonely are so nice :)

  • I agree that the guitar solo sounds like queen but I love this song. This is a really talented band. They've got skill and talent which is rare these days.

  • nice song but the video is too simple haha

  • I don't know why, but, to me, this song kinda sounds like queen, just a bit, anyway.

  • the guitar solo sounds queen-inspired

  • Ok, a few things. Amazing Song, its beauitful and out there, reallly they didnt hold back. It reallly makes the song. Also, that is Brendan Benson singing, definiatly not Jack white.Tho they do sound very similar.

Also a personal question for WeenPeen6. uhm, is ur username weenpeen6 bc of the band Ween? just a question.

  • Nope, just an inside joke with a friend. Never really listened to Ween. Should I?

  • hey...I'm confused...it's Jack singing in this song or not? :D I think it's him, but I'm not sure...I saw some live videos and hi didn't sing in it xD

  • this isn't jack it's brendan benson.

their voices sound very much alike

(i'v been listening this song for about a month being convinced it was jack, till i listened reallly good to it =D)

  • the most rational break-up song I've ever heard.

  • i subscribe :)

  • it was ment for Stephanie198907, but it also goes with what weenpeen6 said ;)

  • there really isn't a single song on this album that I don't like...they're so talented and original, which is really refreshing since most of the music today is either mindless garbage or just a regurgitation of someone else's work.

  • I like this song, and some others of the raconteurs, but I saw them live at a festival last summer, and they really sucked! =(

  • linkin park and disturbed are shit compared to the raconteurs,at least the racs dont have to collaborate with rappers to get proper recognition.

  • eh, we al have opinions

  • I<3 you.

  • likin park is just a techno band with guitars

  • its just an opinion man

  • Yea, it's an opinion, but you don't have to comment on a video of some other band just so you can state that you like another band more. I think your user name already tells everyone who you're a fan of.

Btw... Just an opinion... Linkin Park has been played out and is getting redundant, and Disturbed isn't even as good as Linkin Park, let alone The Raconteurs. It's just an opinion :P

  • i thought melee (keane ripoff) had a new single..it was linkin parks..

it's pretty awfull they stray more and more from what makes them cool.

    -----------------------------

btw. how the hell did they show up in the comment box of a racounteurs song that mostly is inspired by big band music from around the 50's....xD

  • aka garbage...

  • i swear no two songs on this cd sound alike...i want more bands like this. not necessarily this style of music but just this diverse

  • Wicked solo.

  • Wahhhh, this song describes my last relationship :o

    glad it's over though hehe

  • Such a sad song when u listen to the lyrics properly :'(

  • go ahead! cool song ! =)

  • Great "break-up" song!

Though it Jack's band, Brendon Benson deserves some credit on this one!

  • like a happy break up song

    lol

    love it

  • very good song :)

  • this song can be on my list of fav riffs. <3 Jack White

  • This is there next single..its gonna be big in the U.K

  • jehhh!! This Rocks..

Check out the acoustic version.. it's nice as well

  • douche lol, americans and american wannabe's say douche lol. If they say jeh don't you think that they might be from a country who's 1st language isn't english? Think you twat.

  • my favourite song from them!

  • Love the 60s feel. Not much music like this is being made today. Keep on goin' Raconteurs!

  • I wish I was 25 and Jack White was mine!!!

  • lol?

  • nice trumpet in this song

  • this song is ...amazing !!!! i just adore it !

  • This is actually a brilliant song. I love the Raconteurs.

  • Sam początek nie wiedzieć czemu strasznie przypomina mi Kult.

  • ciekawe skojarzenie ;)

  • that is what i think ;)

  • sorry guys that was answer to lophii's (he's polish me too)i don't know why it didn't get there and now is here ;/

this song and racs are great

  • gues not but sounds so much like them well the vocals aren't really freddy good but nice song:)

  • is this queens?

  • I could just listen to the raconteurs for forever <3 ^_________^

  • The Beatles shouldn't even be in the same sentence as the Jonas brothers...(Even though I clearly just did.)....it should never be done. The Beatles should be treated better than that.

  • Agreed. It's on the verge of disrespectful.

  • Thats more than on the verge, thats downright insulting.

  • I apologize if I offended you. I was not criticizing Jonas Brothers or discouraging support to them. At least we can both agree that "Many Shades of Black" is a good song, right? :)

  • Unless you were agreeing with me. Then on that note, nevermind!

  • I was agreeing, the Jonas Brothers are like...the new backstreet boys. Nobody will love them in five years and one of them will die.

  • haha well said.

  • Can't wait. =)

  • @Thixus How dare you disrespect the backstreet boys!

  • @spongedudeZ !!!!!!!!

  • @Thixus None of them died. And there's so many people who loves them. And they are still playin. They've been playin for like 16 years now !!!!!!!!!!!

and yes jonas brothers soo will be forgotten, because they don't compare to BSB !!!

  • why do people keep doing that. i've noticed that as well.

  • because they're fucking legendary

  • and they make great music...

  • Because they were genius musicians. They didn't define a genre, they made one. Not many musicians can say that.

  • what do they have to do with the jonas brothers?!

  • srsly. one of the greatest songs ever.

  • great music great blues

  • To put all this commotion to rest the Jonas Brothers aren't music they're a marketing exercise.

But in all serious people are aloud to like whatever they want.

And how dare any of you insult the Kills they're the greatest band around besides the Racs (and a few others).

  • yeah thats why they couldnt name one of the Beatles. theyre obviously so influenced by them.

  • no matter what every band has some influence by the Beatles...lol even if they list another band, chances are that band was influenced by the Beatles. Its like the 7 degrees of separation..but in for music its more like 3 - 5 lol

  • who WASN'T influenced by the Beatles?

ok rhetorical question lol. I love the Beatles, they like invented rock.

  • To be honest, I don't really care for them, sure, they are a defining factor of rock, undeniable, nor are they in any way bad. I respect the work they did (even if a few members have lost their minds since)

I just don't really like them to be honest.

  • ha my nephew saw them at the greek theater on mondy also hahaha there soo awesome i was soo pissed i missed them in sd

  • how can anyone listen to jonas brothers i hate them i hate them i hate them!

    this song rocks

  • To the person who posted this song, i too love the raconteurs and the jonas brothers :D. Why does everybody find it so unbelievable that somebody could like both?

  • Because the Jonas brothers have a "TV show". That's how they became famous: being on TV, mainly marketed towards prepubescent girls (Maybe boys too?), and their music is generally very mainstream, or watered down for television, if you will. Unless that was a rhetorical question, then by all means listen to whatever you want. I personally don't like them, and put them in the same category as Hannah Montana, or whatever the hell her real name is, because they don't fit any genre that's good.

  • yeah I saw them on monday at the greek. the kills did suck! but the raceoteurs were awesome.

  • The Raconteurs really rocked it out at the Greek Theatre. Only complaint was that they didn't play long enough, and The Kills, the shitty warm up band, played way to long.

    Still amazing though (:

  • I just saw them yesterday at the Greek, in LA. They were friggin great. It kinda sucks that the person who uploaded this album likes the Jonas Brothers...It's like, how can you go from great music to horrible music? lol.

  • theyre both amazing on different levels, in my opinion

  • no, ultimate "break up with my girlfreind" song

  • yeah :)

  • ultimate song

  • SOOOO COOL!!!!!!! i love this band so much!

  • gorham57 is right!! whos better raconteurs or white stripes? if it was up to me it would be the white stripes, but the raconteurs are still pretty good

  • damn so good i cant even find the lyrics of this

  • SO AMAZING<3

Love them, love them, love them.

Hard to decide who was better, White Stripes or the Raconteurs.

    This song is amazing.

  • they're tied.

  • I heard this song on the radio and thought it sounded like a jack white guitar solo.

  • helll awsome

  • Jack White is hot..... and talented!

  • than what are you doing on their song's page?

  • Thank you!

  • this band is FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Strange question.. but is Jack white English?

  • He's from Michigan.

  • Detroit, Michigan.

  • One of the best songs I've heard in a long, long time. Jack White will save rock and roll.

  • i LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this friggin' song.

    gaaaaa....

there are no words. just.. just awesome.

    the chorus is so great!

    ahhhh! i love it!

  • yah the solo is so new and great

  • love this song

  • love the guitar solo, different and brilliant.

  • I'm reminded of Aerosmith when i hear this song. :/ good trak, good album.

  • That's toally right, but who can blame her, she's just about 14,going 15, this might be a sample from reality, a quick stroll in the wild side whatsoever. Notwithsatandings thanks to posting this tune, splendid!

  • How can you be posting a good band like The Raconteurs, and have *cringe* the jonas brothers as your profile picture???

  • lol yea seriouslii

  • Hopefully this marks her beginning interest in real music - there's always room for growth, so she definately get's props from me for paying interest to much better stuff (and who knows, perhaps she just thinks the Jonas Brothers are cute)

  • who is this heretic? where does he live? we must flog him!!

  • It's the cover of Rolling Stone. Doesn't mean it's a Jonas fan necessarily.

  • The "Jonas Brothers" shouldn't have been on the cover of Rolling Stone any way. They are even less deserving than, let's say, someone like Jay-z or somthing.

  • Dude, the Jonas Bro's are like a wet turd sliding down a wall with a kid licking a lollipop, i think they need to re-think there lives, and albeit, there sexuality.....

  • So true!!!

  • so true true true

  • hmm, the chorus reminds me of those 50's music...i love it!

  • hmm..<3

    "& everybody sees"

    luv it!!

  • Man,i love this song.. has anyone heard the Adele version thats bloody brilliant aswell. :) x

  • I heard it, at first I was like woaahh what is she doing but then I was like noo this is actually really good :]

    x

  • I love this song.

  • there i something familiar about, the chorus in this song, hmmm. but anyways, great song.

  • i know. i dont know why, but i associate gavin degraw with the chorus.

  • My favorite song of theirs...total lyrical brilliance...couldnt have said it better myself :)

  • I first heard this song on Alt Nation on Sirius Radio. I loved it the first time I heard it! The trumpet (is that what it is?) made me laugh. But I didn't notice it until about the 50th time I heard it. It's like finding out that the jacket you've been wearing all year is reversible. It was kinda weird. But it sounds really cool!

  • i was thinkin of freddy mercury the first time i heard this song

when i bught the album my friend and i listened to it 4 times in a row

    long but awesome road trip

  • The chorus reminds me of a "Grease" song, but i can't think of which.

  • That quick stop to the "and you Can not take it back." Is awesome.

  • It's hard to pick a favorite from this album, but this has to be mine.

  • yeah this soung sounds like queen, but still..awsome song!!

  • God I love yhis song...

  • This sounds very Queen-inspired, idk. I love the Racountuers!

  • great song sound like something else i heard

  • god, amazing song. i have to get this album

  • Es una super canción...no la puedo dejar de escuchar

  • what idiot said that the raconteurs are emo?

  • This song should be used with some kind of montage, not of the raconteurs but of something rather sad or emotional; if you know what i mean.

  • epic epic song 8 thumbs up

  • the saboteurs sing this. whats this raconteurs?? or am i missing something? great song nevertheless.

  • they are the same band

  • Their real name is The Raconteurs but they had to change it to The Saboteurs in Australia cos there was already a band called The Raconteurs over there apparently

  • The Saboteurs is the Australian name for The Raconteurs, as there is already an Australian band called The Raconteurs!

  • Me encanta esta cancion, la escuche por primera vez en ibero 90.9, dentro de buenos dias santa fe

  • I love this song! :D

  • great song...great band! loved it

  • outragously excellent!!!

  • A fantastic song! What a wonderful guitar solo this is - only Jack White (I dare to call him Jack Black for this song only) seems to be able to write one like that currently. The Raconteurs rock!!!

  • I love this song :)

  • Wow.... simply incredible. Blues-y, Queen-sy. Amazing. Thank you so much for posting.

  • I disagree. I like this song better.
