nope theres a differance between the raconteurs and linkin park. well ya see linkin park is a bunch of talentless morons and the raconteurs are all around awsome.
I agree that the guitar solo sounds like queen but I love this song. This is a really talented band. They've got skill and talent which is rare these days.
Ok, a few things. Amazing Song, its beauitful and out there, reallly they didnt hold back. It reallly makes the song. Also, that is Brendan Benson singing, definiatly not Jack white.Tho they do sound very similar.
Also a personal question for WeenPeen6. uhm, is ur username weenpeen6 bc of the band Ween? just a question.
hey...I'm confused...it's Jack singing in this song or not? :D I think it's him, but I'm not sure...I saw some live videos and hi didn't sing in it xD
there really isn't a single song on this album that I don't like...they're so talented and original, which is really refreshing since most of the music today is either mindless garbage or just a regurgitation of someone else's work.
Yea, it's an opinion, but you don't have to comment on a video of some other band just so you can state that you like another band more. I think your user name already tells everyone who you're a fan of.
Btw... Just an opinion... Linkin Park has been played out and is getting redundant, and Disturbed isn't even as good as Linkin Park, let alone The Raconteurs. It's just an opinion :P
douche lol, americans and american wannabe's say douche lol. If they say jeh don't you think that they might be from a country who's 1st language isn't english? Think you twat.
The Beatles shouldn't even be in the same sentence as the Jonas brothers...(Even though I clearly just did.)....it should never be done. The Beatles should be treated better than that.
I apologize if I offended you. I was not criticizing Jonas Brothers or discouraging support to them. At least we can both agree that "Many Shades of Black" is a good song, right? :)
no matter what every band has some influence by the Beatles...lol even if they list another band, chances are that band was influenced by the Beatles. Its like the 7 degrees of separation..but in for music its more like 3 - 5 lol
To be honest, I don't really care for them, sure, they are a defining factor of rock, undeniable, nor are they in any way bad. I respect the work they did (even if a few members have lost their minds since)
To the person who posted this song, i too love the raconteurs and the jonas brothers :D. Why does everybody find it so unbelievable that somebody could like both?
Because the Jonas brothers have a "TV show". That's how they became famous: being on TV, mainly marketed towards prepubescent girls (Maybe boys too?), and their music is generally very mainstream, or watered down for television, if you will. Unless that was a rhetorical question, then by all means listen to whatever you want. I personally don't like them, and put them in the same category as Hannah Montana, or whatever the hell her real name is, because they don't fit any genre that's good.
The Raconteurs really rocked it out at the Greek Theatre. Only complaint was that they didn't play long enough, and The Kills, the shitty warm up band, played way to long.
I just saw them yesterday at the Greek, in LA. They were friggin great. It kinda sucks that the person who uploaded this album likes the Jonas Brothers...It's like, how can you go from great music to horrible music? lol.
gorham57 is right!! whos better raconteurs or white stripes? if it was up to me it would be the white stripes, but the raconteurs are still pretty good
That's toally right, but who can blame her, she's just about 14,going 15, this might be a sample from reality, a quick stroll in the wild side whatsoever. Notwithsatandings thanks to posting this tune, splendid!
Hopefully this marks her beginning interest in real music - there's always room for growth, so she definately get's props from me for paying interest to much better stuff (and who knows, perhaps she just thinks the Jonas Brothers are cute)
The "Jonas Brothers" shouldn't have been on the cover of Rolling Stone any way. They are even less deserving than, let's say, someone like Jay-z or somthing.
Dude, the Jonas Bro's are like a wet turd sliding down a wall with a kid licking a lollipop, i think they need to re-think there lives, and albeit, there sexuality.....
I first heard this song on Alt Nation on Sirius Radio. I loved it the first time I heard it! The trumpet (is that what it is?) made me laugh.
