Thank god for the NHS, I am a nurse in the A&E in the UK, i could never imagine turning people away who needed care due to not having the needs. Nothing gives me more pleasure then helping a person to spend more time with their family. We may have yellow teeth in the UK but by the grace of god when we fall ill we can go to a hospital & be treated with care without worrying about the cost. Perhaps the US should think less about vanity & more on looking after their people health. Very sad

That might be true, but how about another example? A friend of mine had an arachnoid cyst and had to be operated. U can see it's an illness which is not provoked by any action, its genetic. The cyst was large and caused him heavy headaches, pains in the lumbar zone, etc. He could not live with those symptoms. Luckily healthcare in Spain is free and he was operated without paying anything. What would happen in USA? I dont even want to imagine it.

Every other developed nation on the planet has some form of a national health plan that gaurantees everyone has access to care AND every one of them pay less per capita than the US with its corrupt greedy insurance cartel.

In 2007 400 billion dollars was wasted by the government in healthcare bureaucracy. We need less government not more government. It is especially disheartening to see people ready to give up liberty for a job, and healthcare, when the restoration of our constitution would make a way for them to have both.
