  • To date my favorite LP album. This music with the proper equipment will literally blow you away. Especially Krwlng, which Opening is sort of a preview to.

  • this song makes me think about one piece.....greatest manga story ever :D

  • @MrMrToastbrot I think the album was more of an allusion to Gundam. Well, the cover and booklet art were anyway.

  • @MrJakeTheAwesome this is OPENING !

  • @poker000 Sounds like Crawling.

  • yes, cause crawling has almost the same beginning, but this is opening

  • it is the reanimated version of crawling now entitled krwlng

  • It's so funny that the one good linkin park album is the one they never made.

  • idoli

  • I was one of the most devoted LP fans out there, and I enjoyed Minutes to Midnight, however, Chester Bennington had an interview, where he proceeded to insult the fans, saying that "We're no longer doing that immature angry shit, we have anew style, it's time to grow up". Now I don't care who you think you are, you NEVER insult the fans. Who made LP what they are today. We loved them fromt he begginning, they had an original and brilliant sound, but it's gone now, as is my fanship...

  • No You shouldn't. But I also see it's quite dissapointinting when Your so-called fans don't want to just simply accept their development (if it's a godd one for You or not; but certainly one they've thought about and they want to identify themselfes with).

  • Ironicly, and I think that's a big factor for his comment, is all that, always what they were singing about, and to see that some "fans" are becoming what they wanted to overcome is defnitly irritating. Them fans never understood the texts, just listened to a beat.

  • For me, I would've prefered a small fanbase, who understand then just a large profitable one. Somewhat just like with friends.

In anyway, it was stuipid from him to say it that way, and I think the other ones of LP, wouldn't have said it like that, if at all.

But it's also unfair to blame and hate him for it. It's something which had to be said, even in such a immature way; and I don't think his words represent all of his thoughts

  • I think this will also have been dicussed in their forums and I can't imagine that he wouldn't have said sorry and explained himself.

    BTW Opening is fantastic!!

  • Yeah, I know it must have been hard for them. But can you really blame the fans? We fell in love with LP, with the unique and brilliant sound they had. Now they've gone to a more mainstream sound, which is still great, but not what we fell in love with. Then, when Chester Bennington, the man who we could all count on, insulted the fans on live TV, I was shocked. And I know that they're never going to go back to their original sound, which made me think, what's the point of staying with them?

  • I would blame the fans, which don't (want to) understand their motives. Their songs to Meteora. have always had a depressiv background. Trying to get sorted with their own situation, expressing their thoughts;

  • and their fans were atleast someone where they knew that they aren't alone. So after they feel they've sorted their lifes and they want to step forwards and don't live after their past, they probably would've thought their fans would understand that, since they thought they were their fans becouse of their feelings expressed in their music. Most did, but there's also a suprisingly large group which didnt, and so never did actually understand them.

  • So You defnitly can blame them fans.

But were's moving now in circles. I didn't see that comment nor any folloeing eyplanation which might have followed.

Also they are still releasing their Underground titles, which are mostly reemixes and live songs from the earlier work. They aren't completly abandoning their old way.

Their new songs are more directed to the worl then just themselfes, and I don't thing that's a negative development.

  • If they's still be doing their old style, they'd be a group complaining over and over again about their problems, with no example for a solution.

The point of staying with them is if You ever realy identified Yourself with their music and so You should be then able to do it with their new one, or if You just listened it for the beat and sound

  • I get where you're coming from, and I empathise with LP's point of view as well, however, the fact fo the matter is that we fell in love with this LP. Not the new one, and good on them for moving on, but they can't criticize us for not changing our tastes to suit them.

  • We are so moving in circles. You don't reaaly get my point I probably not Your one.

Just anothe thing which just came into my mind: "Dead By Sunrise" ; Chester's sideband.

His comment wouldn't make any sence at all

  • Yeah, we kind of are lol, anyway, I'll be sure to check out Dead by Sunrise.

  • I just mean, it doesn't make any sence that he wants to abandon the old style with Linkin Park but picking it back up with Dead By Sunrise

  • Well, that does make sense, he's moving in a new direction with LP, but keeping the old style with DBS, that would make perfect sense, however. DBS is nothign liek their old style, they're great, but nothing like the classic LP.

  • They Lyrics are! That was what's all about!

  • Yeah, makes sense, we should have seen it coming.

  • I like Linkin Park because Shadow of the Day was played at my Mothers funeral

  • my condolences

  • Linkin Park i don't leave with out you

  • DUDE this is like begining of halo shit stuff. i fuckin Love Linkin Park. Favourite Band FOREVER AND EVER!

  • it was at the end

  • AWSOME!!!

  • its sounds similar to the intro of KRWLING but its still awesome

  • @Dwade3LinkinPark mm yeah they like this whole continuity thing in their songs so they started off with it and ended the album with it, i think thats pretty neat even tho the first time i was listenin to it on tape i was like wtfff where is krwlng lol

  • LP yeah
