My aunt went through chemo last year, and losing her hair was awful for her, she got really depressed, which is in itself not good, but especially not if you're fighting cancer. I think this is a really wonderful thing they're trying to do.

i recently saw my brother loose his hair and it hurt me, it impacted me and i didnt even loose my hair. i think they should make a bald barbie, but not just that. 100% of the proceeds from that barbie should go towards cancer research so that one day a bald barbie wont be necessary because cancer will be a thing of the past... could you imagine? This was a truly beautiful message. Over the summer, I lost my hair from the process of going through chemo. I tried not to let it affect me, but it did. How could it not when you have heaps of your own hair in your hands. As time has gone on, instead of seeing it as this ugly scar, I see it more as a badge of courage. It shows how hard I've fought. How resilient I am. It's about time everyone see how beautiful bald really is. Thank you, Katy.
