The Marines arent special forces. However the Marines are extremely well trained seeing how large they are. My grandfather was a royal marine cammando in Korea. He served with a group of marines and said they were some of the most determined hardest fighting bastards hes ever met.
I'm heading to Bootcamp in San Diego later this month. I just turned 18 but been hooked under the USMC since I was 17. I barley signed up for MOS 2336 - EOD.

just enlisted all of a week ago. and i got a year to go till Paris Island. Ship out 14 June 2010. The only thing I suggest is ROTC and make sure you are sure this is what you want.
2 more years for me.I have 2 years of NJROTC shadow is right ROTC will teach you alot of things.I've 2 years left and I already feel confident enough to go in....but as we all know those DI's take that confidence away as soon as you make eye contact xD

The Marines arent special forces. However the Marines are extremely well trained seeing how large they are. My grandfather was a royal marine cammando in Korea. He served with a group of marines and said they were some of the most determined hardest fighting bastards hes ever met.

Yeah, that will be the last time you call what you are about to go through basic. Good luck, and remember, you are never going to do something like this again. Have fun with it. If it doesn't suck, you are doing something wrong. You are about to learn that suck and hardship is a good thing. Going in, boot camp sucked, coming out it was one of the best experiences of my life. I spent three months trying to get out of the depot, and the rest of my life wishing I was still there.

just enlisted all of a week ago. and i got a year to go till Paris Island. Ship out 14 June 2010. The only thing I suggest is ROTC and make sure you are sure this is what you want.
