@Caps11wasProduction "rating videos" is something you used to be able to do on YT. You could rate a video from 1-5 stars (1 being bad vid, 5 being good vid). YT decided to get rid of the star system and that is why there is just a simple "like this video" now! Thanks for Watching!
What are you talking about? The stars system worked fine this like or dislike thing is complete rubbish especially when you like something it adds to your favorites. I want to know the overall quality of the videos by the stars not a black or white opinion.
I feel like the stars were abused. Videos were usually all 5 stars or 1 star (not an accurate representation of the quality of the video). However, I do agree that the "automatic favorite" isn't a good thing. I guess we will have to wait and see what changes are made to the new YouTube.
It is something you have to "opt in" to receive (because it is on a trial only basis). To try it out, click on the link to the YouTube Blog in the sidebar and look for the story about the new video interface.
