Dayarathne Perera may not have had many songs, but the few he had were all hits, especially in 1980s where SLBC was a still a force to be reckoned with among general public in Sri Lanka. He has such a simple uncluttered voice which is quite synonymous with the kind of all his songs; simple yet heartfelt. This along with the song "Nododa Muwin" had been his best hits IMO. Still I remember how I came to love the latter in mid 80's even while being an 8-9 year old.
