@WW, Great table!!! I made one myself by just putting a hole in an old table holding a fence down with a few clamps. It has worked SO WELL for me so far! I do love your table. Are there any plans on hwo to build this?
@tibothenr To start with I used a small spring clamp to hold the switch in. You could also wrap tape around to do the same thing. Eventually I removed the switch from the router totally, and wired it direct to the NVR switch at the front of the cabinet.
@WeekendWorkshop wow i was thinking way more complicated i cant believe i didnt thought of that , thank you very much :) now im going to build my table :)
@tibothenr I have the same problem. I remedied that by getting a power strip, attaching it SNUGLY to the front or side of the table, pluggin the router into the strip, and keeping the switch for the router ON. Anytime I dont use the router, I unplug all power plugs to ensure that no one accidentally trips the switch because a power strip switch is MUCH more senitive than the NVR switch WW used.
@stewtrek The switch I used was from an old McKellor router table, but they are easy to get. Just search for "NVR Switch". If you are in the uk, Axminster do one, but so do most woodworker suppliers.
i can make now a different design and decoration using my router thanks,,,,,,,
