while what you ate did indeed look good, i have to admit - what you ate was about as far away from authentic vietnamese food as you can get.

it was americanized chinese with perhaps fish sauce instead of soy but that's about as close as you got.

vietnamese cuisine is vibrant and absolutely brimming with huge, bold flavors including a ton of fresh herbs and aromatics - and what you had was basically a chicken and beef stirfry with vegetables and rice.

again, your reviews are very entertaining.

Best vietnamese restaurant in the area! I once sold $600 of kitchen cutlery to the guy in the picture of the newspaper on the wall.
