gameplay wise; NO Blizzard doesnt' hate paladins. RNG wise YES THEY DO! in 6 years my paladin has NEVER had a random BOE epic drop, a drop from a dungeon she needed or a mount from a particular boss i wanted for her. however my warrior, first time running herioc MGT, got the white hawkstrider. now i thought it was just random but tried it again on a diffferent toon and AGAIN my DK got the white hawkstrider. just REALLY bad/good luck or is my pallys RNG setting set to -400000000%?
Ok I understand you are coming from a healer point of veiw so I will forgive you having to look up what others say about ret and prot but the 1 thing I MUST disagree with is the look of the teir 11, you have a choice of a white, blue, or reddish/blackish GIANT CHICKEN. T12 is worse with the cloth looking dress. However as a prot pally my biggest beef is that I used to love dealing mass damage while defending, dueling fury wars I used to deal more then I took, Loved that set up.
I know how to play my class, dipshit. I know how to play my Ret and I don't have a single problem keeping up with or surpassing other classes. Holy power is a bit slow for Ret, Healing needs some work for them too. All this Im sure blizz will fix over time. Rets are getting buffs in 4.2 alrdy. SoR seals will finally crit, a talent that will lower WoG cd. And if you still act like a LOLRET roll a frost mage and roll your face on the keyboard. And stay away from MY class you cant fcking play right

Paladins might be alright in PvE, I haven´t done much PvE to comfirm that but in PvP no spec atm is good. Holy getting crowd controlled to death, ret kited to death and prot... no words there.
Not sure about the Holy gettting CC to the death, when I am playing I can use the trinket and bubble to get out of CC, HoF helps whit some of those skills to, and AM makes us inmune to silences. Those are far more skills to get out of CC than most classes (as far as I know). However I think ret does need an snare so it wont be so kitable.
With the the WoG nerf I,d say they've gone back to hating paladins, well prot n ret. back to being force in to being a heal bot again for pvp to be viable lame.

I still think Blizzard hates Paladins. Right now I am very happy with where Retritbution is in both PvE and PvP, I can pull my 20k+ no problem, and I can 1v1 almost every class except a really good Frost Mage. The Word of Glory nerf is going to BREAK Ret in PvP. I'm happy that we're still going to be competitive in PvE, but the WoG nerf was unwarranted. Try going toe to toe with a Blood Death Knight and be appalled by the endless wave of defensive cooldowns and massive self healing.
i agree paladins got a lot better in the last two expansions, but, as a ret paladin I was rather upset with the nerfed divine shield, *8 seconds instead of 12, so no more bubble hearths, which is useful when you've been flagged and get jumped* they took away divine intervention, and after making us learn a new seal/judgment system for wotlk, they changed it back, making us have to unlearn all that. there's some other stuff but i havent played the game in about 3 months, and i only miss my guild
oh and, I don't mean to offend you mate, but by judging your armory you have obviously not much experience in nearly every single aspect of the game, you have very low pve & pvp xp and you're gemming pure mastery as holy.
and finally, you say "look what we got, holy power!" .. actually holy power is crap
- they still have no clear direction for retribution, the talent tree is a completely mess und the idea behind die retribution spec itself is so special that it will never fit in this game. devs said it themselves.

They hate rets though.... maybe not holy or prot..
We get a gapclosing 'ability' that;
A. is part of our damage rotation, no one likes waiting for CS CD. so when you NEED it, its probably not there to utilize.
B. Is negated too fast with a slows/snare.
C. has a 15 yard minimum range, allmost double the prerequisite of warrior intercept/heroic leap and druid jump.
We really need a standalone ability, that ACTUALLY closes the gap.
Not a Dispelable HoF, and running out of mana spamming cleanse.
