@ihatejsb I'm actually wrong though, when I finished watching to episode, as I answered this after I watched this part, I saw that Blackfire could destroy them with her powers. Then again, it's always possible that energy only works on certain parts of them, and of course, she knew exactly where to hit them :P

@ihatejsb Maybe it's resistant to energy, as it's made by Starefire's people, so that would make sense, but physical attacks do damage. Because Cyborg's, Starfire's and Raven's powers are energy related, but Beast Boy's and Robin's are not. That would work, because BB missed, but Robin didn't. That's just a theory though; it's highly possible the director simply didn't think about it... :)
