  • LOL at the end of the video. The appeal of a flat income tax is that it simplifies how the government steals your money.

  • ANY tax on income is straight from the pits of Hell. Make it as low of a percentage as you feel like, but it is still evil because it is taxing income. It will still be subverted by lobbyists and the like and revised until it is no longer flat. The FairTax is the only answer to our corrupt tax code.

  • Probably a bad idea to schedule two guests via satellite named Ken and Kent and then try to refer to them by their first name.

  • Fair tax is the only way!!!

  • @ateamofone There is no such thing as a fair tax, taxation is theft. That's like saying fair extortion.

  • i would like a fair tax since it would render the IRS obsolete.

  • The reason we don't have a flat tax is because it isn't a fair tax system. The reason it isn't fair is the economic Law of Diminishing Marginal utility. Let's assume under a flat tax system, everyone pays 20% income tax. Well, paying 20% of a $30,000 a year income hurts a person a LOT more than paying 20% of a $300,000 a year income.

  • @TheBrindleBoxer

The flat tax can be a fair tax if people get a rebate for all essential goods and services, like the Fair-Tax does.

SO, lets say that person making $30,000 a year gets taxed 20%, which is $6000. Everyone would get a $5000 rebate on essential goods and services, which would make the effective tax rate for $30,000 3.33%, or $1000. Doing the math, people making under $25,000 would get a negative tax, meaning they would have a net gain because of the rebate.

  • @EliteKiller07 Explain to me what is fair about stealing money from people?

  • @LordShandor

Nothing at all. But if we want to have a government, however small or big you want it to be, we need to have some sort of taxation; unless, of course, you are an anarchist.

  • @EliteKiller07 Who says we do or should? Government is responsible for more death and suffering than religion, think about that one. Government is an outdated concept and needs to go. It leeches and produces nothing but sorrow.

  • @LordShandor

Our current government is bad, I agree. However, I think there is a necessary and limited role for government, as our founders envisioned. I'm not going to sit here and type out what I think the government should and shouldn't do, you can just read the constitution.

We probably agree more than we disagree

  • @EliteKiller07 Perhaps we will agree, but it could be easily argued that the founders were hypocrites for the most part and allowed critical flaws in the constitution to exist in order to lead to exactly what we have now. LImited government cannot exists for any length of time, like all viruses, government's only ability is to grow. Give them ANY power and you have given them ALL power, it is only a matter of time.

  • @LordShandor Its that government that organizes the people of this country. I mind you that without the government you wouldn't have an army, fire fighters, police, safety regulations, or even the ability to legal protect yourself in court.

How do I put this? If the US government disappeared today, the people would make a new one, out of necessity.

  • @TMBrd89 You seem to make the assumption that all of those are 1 good and 2 do what they purport to do, both are false. You also assume that organization = government, it doesn't. Government is never formed by collective will of the people but by agenda of the few for their own benefit. And if they would do as you say today (another assumption without evidence) it would only be because of brainwashing, thinking they can't live without it being this way, another false assumption.

  • @LordShandor

Look up the verb, to govern, and see why you are wrong.

  • @TMBrd89 there is a world of different between the word govern and the institution of government, which is a monopoly on violence. You are the one that is wrong.

  • @LordShandor Monopoly on violence? Are you making up stuff.

What do you think a government is?

  • @TMBrd89 A government is a monopoly on the use of violence. What else could it be.

  • @TMBrd89 The monopoly on violence (German: Gewaltmonopol des Staates) is the conception of the state expounded by Max Weber in Politics as a Vocation. According to Weber, the state is that entity which claims a monopoly on violence, which it may therefore elect to delegate as it sees fit. Weber's conception of the state as holding a monopoly on violence has figured prominently in philosophy of law and political philosophy in the twentieth century.

  • It defines a single entity, the state, as exercising authority on violence over a given territory; territory was also deemed by Weber to be a prerequisite feature of a state. Such a monopoly, according to Weber, must occur via a process of legitimation, wherein a claim is laid which legitimizes the state's use of violence.

  • @LordShandor Who is weber?

If that is the case, why would pioneers and settlements form their own government voluntarily?

  • @TMBrd89 Max Weber, German sociologist and political economist best known for his thesis of the “Protestant ethic,” relating Protestantism to capitalism, and for his ideas on bureaucracy. Weber’s profound influence on sociological theory stems from his demand for objectivity in scholarship and from his analysis of the motives behind human action.

  • @TMBrd89 They didn't in most cases. Usually government is brought about by force of the few at the expense of the many. And regardless of how it forms, it is still a monopoly on the use of force, which is why it cannot be trusted and why it ALWAYS leads to abuse of power because it has no competition and has no reason to compel honesty or fairness. i.e. power corrupts...

The Founders forced Government upon the people, they didn't ask for it.

  • @LordShandor Actually no you are wrong. The founders/ people created the House of Burgesses. Without it's creation, there wouldn't be an America.

  • @TheBrindleBoxer There is no such thing as a fair tax, taxation is theft. End of story.

  • @TheBrindleBoxer Clearly a minimum income level would have to be implemented to help the lower income earners. If you applied a 20,000$ minimum bracket and everything above flat taxable... the lesser earner in your scenario would be paying $2,000 ( 20% of 10,000) and the top earner would be paying 60,000 ( 20% of 300,000 ). What is not fair about the? Even at the lower end of your spectrum (where I am currently at) The quality of life lived in most modern g20 countries, is dramatically enhanced

  • @TheBrindleBoxer compared to our ancestors. The overall goal of a flat tax rate should be increase fairness across the board and shrink to the amount of tax paid to governments. More money in the payers hand, less in the hands of those who squander and are closer to the 300,000 end of the spectrum who feel entitled to your money.

  • @TheBrindleBoxer And clearly I should spend more time proof reading ahahah I apologize, tax is an emotional issue for me.

  • Aww, isn't she pretty? Fair tax is still sounding good to me.

  • Why not simply introduce a wealth tax on real estate and abolish the rest? I would need literaly 10 government officials to run it. Everyone estimates the value of their land/houses and based on that you pay ex. 3% a year tax. BUT if you estimate the value too low the government may buy it from you paying the price you indicated. People who don't own real estate would also "pay" it in a way cause obviously the rent would go up. So you have a computer system, 10 guys and a system you cant cheat!

  • @mindOFAlibertarian Great then you would never really own anything....have a bad year can't pay....your life's work all gone...just a great idea....just great.....good God where do these people come from?

  • @leadarrows what r U talkin about? "you have a bad year can't pay"?? why is that? If you have a bad year U still can pay income tax why do you think you wouldnt be able to pay the wealth tax?? I would set it up in the exact same amount, NOT the same percentage. Ex. let's say 30% income tax would be like 1% real estate tax.

  • @leadarrows PS: I worked for hundreds of years. Before the 20th century there were no income taxes in most countries. People had "bad years" and still managed to pay wealth taxes.

  • Is Fox inept or what?

  • Mr. SouthernFriedHoney and your 35 other youtube aliases

What is the difference between you buying yourself a loaf of bread and your state buying one for you? Besides the fact that you pay the government to buy the loaf of bread, nothing. You consume it either way, and both you and the state currently pay the embedded cost of income capital gain, corporate income and other taxes.

Exempting government consumption will cause every one will ask the government to give them everything.

  • The US is Bankrupt. The people cannot even pay the interest on what has been wasted on billionaires, over the past 10 years. We need to bring back import tariffs, Corporate taxes and raise the top tax rate to 90%, like it was when Nixon was President and America was great. Stealing Social Security for the people who paid for it is Criminal. Social Security has currently, a 3 trillion dollar surplus. Trouble is, the government doesn't want to pay the money back that has been loaned to them.

  • It doesn't matter what kind of tax they give us, they will find a way to game the system into their advantage. Eventually they will decide to tax one item at a higher rate than another & before you know it it's 70% for gas like in England. The best thing to do is to remove all federal taxes completely & assign them a flat percentage paid by each state per quarter. Also, with state taxes we'd get taxed twice on everything we buy.

  • Beware of these names. They're all the same person, a FairTax spammer who doesn't work. Compare vocabulary and style. BullshipDetector, CanteenKid, FarceTax, FilmCriticOne, NawwLeans, MakeMyPower, MarkDouglasC, MathTruthTax, MyBookDeal, MyBookWork, NavyBeer, NeilTaxCon, PrebateNonsense, Taxfools, TaxSanity, TruthMattersToMe, TubeTaxPro, 12FlyMe, SteamBoatCamp, ItchMyFoot, RooferHoofer, MybookDeal, etc etc.

  • Flat tax on income is the reason Athens failed. Progressive taxation has been the only form of income tax the United States has ever had for a reason. It's a reason we grew the strongest middle class in the history of all civilization.

In 1976, 99% of us had 80% of American wealth, today 99% of us have 53% of all wealth. In the same time we have made our taxation system less progressive and more regressive.

Fair tax is just as bad as flat tax because it's more regressive.

  • @doooobies332 When you say the progressive tax has made a strong middle class, do you mean that less people in the midddle class are moving up to the upper class? Is that supposed to be good?

  • Know you're history. The income tax was created to pay for the civil war, then struck down by the courts as unconstitutional. The BEST tax is NO tax. The stats you posted about "wealth disparity" is a completely different monster than taxation. It has to do with the cartelization of the national banks, and the corporate cartels through lobbying. The fair tax gives prebates to everyone up to the poverty line. Impossible to be "regressive."

  • @doooobies332 The problem with any tax on income is that the money belongs to the government, BEFORE it belongs to the working individual. This causes huge amounts of wealth mis-allocation. This mis-allocation of resources discourages new investment in needed areas. Making everyone worse off.

  • Ken Hogland is a fuckin prick. Let the man speak

  • the less money we give to the government the less stupid things they can do with it

  • @lord86maverick Fairtax plan is for city and state governments to pay a brand new, and huge, tax on all their spending. Including a tax on their payroll.

Fairtax Answer Book, page 138. "Under our plan, all city and state government will pay the federal government taxes on all their spending, including spending for labor (wages)."

Where would city and state government GET the $? And why does Fairtax hide this massive new tax in the back of their book, in just one sentence?

  • @SouthernFriedHoney wow u should be on the debate team. I made my comment more or less on anger at the fact 4 months of our wages goes str8 to the government and state and i figer the less we give them the better off we be to not have to work 2-3 jobs, just to stay ahead of the rat race. but im pretty stupid when it comes to politics.

  • @lord86maverick Do you grasp that Fairtax is bullshit yet?

Fairtax has many THOUSANDS of pages about it's plan. And it sounds like magic.

But in just three sentences, in their fine print, they claim city and state governments will pay massive taxes to the federal government.

Do you realize 1) how insane that is? 2) how decptive it is?

Are you grasping the bullshit? It is NOT a serious plan, it is literally a farce. They know that their own plan is bullshit.

  • @SouthernFriedHoney The states are the primary payers, They are also the only collectors of the Fair tax. They receive a small portion back for administrative purposes. (mainly for states with no sales tax.)

It's not as though you make it seem, so you are the one being misleading. Show me the line in HR25 thats says the states have to pay the fair tax for individuals without being granted the right to collect it. There is non. I have read it.

  • @asleeperj You stupid fuck -- the states DO have to pay the tax, ON TOP of what people pay you fucking moron. There is a tax on people -- that the states collect. But ALSO you stupid fucking moron, there is a tax on STATES spending, a tax that the STATE and CITY and COUNTY government have to pay.

Got that yet retard? IT's a "two tier" system, you fucking idiot. One tier -- people pay. The other tier -- government pays.

It's a fucking farce you fucking idiot.

  • @SouthernFriedHoney The states collect the fart Tax. Therefor they pay it to the federal government, and get a little back for administration. What is so hard about that?

Yes the government also has to pay itself the tax; because, otherwise the government would not incorporate that cost into the budget, benefiting the firm providing the good or service, and other firms would enter that market seeking higher profits. This would cause a "bubble" in that area of the economy.

  • @SouthernFriedHoney Its not 2 tier, it is 1 tier, EVERYONE PAYS, private sector or not.

  • @SouthernFriedHoney Mark is foaming at the mouth again. We are done arguing with you. you've lied one too many times. you've demonstrated that know the fairtax enough to pointedly lie about it. you're misquotes and demagogery have been debunked every time since you started this crusade years ago. and you're Tourette victim's command of the English language doesn't help you're case. Get some help big guy, she's not coming back, and you need to deal with that fact. Really, It'll be okay.

  • @laudanum4u - Dude, don't give up. I think it's fun owning Mark. Notice he has his own videos now? Also notice, he won't allow anyone to comment. He deletes and blocks everyone who makes him look like the paranoid schizophrenic he is. When the FairTax went to the House Ways and Means committee for hearings, Mark went ballistic.

  • I fully support the FairTax. Prices WON'T go up, but you'll be able to buy more, because your take-home pay will rise. The poor will be untaxed due to the Prebate. Criminals and illegals will contribute to the taxes. We'll wonder why it took us so long. See FairTax.org

  • i like how the guy who starts talking doesnt really provide proof but just basically says its shit. its bad because its stupid dont do it becauese its dumb they shouldnt do it. okay. WHY?! uhhh....alright awesome arguement. thanks fox news.

  • Fred Thompson proposes changes to the income tax. it will be changed again later. the fair tax put you in a fight to repeal the 16th amendment. I want to do this in australia so we end up a tax haven for businesses around the world.

  • they can have my money ...one bullet at a time

  • Our people....we have a flat tax. It started in 1913 and we still have it today...it just has exemptions, loopholes and regressive portions added onto it by the geniuses in Washington. A flat tax has been tried, it's failed!!

FairTax is the solution, plain and simple!!

  • @BritBoyProductions im pretty sure not everyone pays the same base percentage of their income

  • One thing that I think that everyone can agree on is that either flat or fair or combo of both would be better than the current system.

A flat tax could be used as a base, and could be lowered through the use of a fair tax. I'd actually like to see an 8% flat tax, and an 8% fair tax in combination in preference to my current 25% income tax bracket.

  • I am very confused between the Fair Tax and the Flat tax.

In a Flat tax you collect one rate of 11-15% (TBA) on all earnings with only a standard of living deduction, a single index card size form and it's the responcibility of the individual.

In a Fair tax you get a check from the government and businesses collect the money for the government.

How does either eliminate the IRS or prevent lobbyists?

  • But wouldn't a flat tax simply grow back into the moster of tax code we've got now? We need the income tax system completely replaced.

  • We should have a flat tax of .5 percent. .5 percent, and we limit spending to roads, military and courts.

  • yeah. that would be nice. But unfortunately we have these pesky little things call democrats in the country. They believe that others are entitled to the product of you labor. They started as progressives then socalists, communists, facists. then stole the name of the liberals, now that everyone forgot the horrors of progessivism, they went back to that name. problem is they are voters like us. so a progressive sales tax is necessary to make tax reform a reality.

  • @laudanum4u

I am very anti tax. We should only have the minimum, and spend the rest on private companies. For example, private police companies. I pay money to a private police force. They then protect my home. Or, I buy a 12 gauge and a .357 magnum and protect my home myself. We would be paying a lot less, since companies would lower prices to get our business, since we have a choice.

  • by all means don't stop fighting for lower taxes, though. just understand that this is not that fight. We're trying to simplify the tax code in a way that will bring our money and jobs back to our shores. The FairTax will do it. and will make your job easier.

  • Only to you Mark. Sometimes the lone voice of reason really is. the other 99.9% of the time it's just some guy off his meds.

Ch 10 question 6 FairTax: the truth explains the government paying self argument.

Medical costs drop about 5%, even after the FT. so there goes your cancer victim card.

The prebate covers rent, gas, and utilities taxes with a bunch to spare.

Me and all the other FT leaders (You can't seem to name) are pushing for hearings.

Now start cursing some more. It helps

  • @laudanum4u Okay, by reading your comment here, I see you are a Fair Tax leader (self proclaimed). I need to understand how a single 13% tax on all earnings (monetary or material), with only a deduction for cost of living, all writen on a single card, paid at the end of the year (with a few months grace period for those who didn't save for the tax) is more complicated than adding to a business' responsibility and become an "agent of the government" to collect 23% tax.

  • @bsabruzzo fair question. 1.) stability. income comes from jobs. spending comes from income, savings, and interest. 2.) businesses are compensated for their trouble as well as the state collecting from said business. 3.) we tried the flat tax under Reagan. look where it got us. it's entirely to easy to easy to "fix" the system when know one pays attention to what they pay. All we care about is what we are owed. now just 22 years after Reagan their is 70.000 pages worth of "fixes". -cont

  • @laudanum4u Okay, I'm starting to get it and see a number of benefits. But I'm certain you got that wrong about a Flat Tax under Regan. Are you certain he made a single tax rate for all income and eliminated all other taxes so that single rate covered even business taxes, Cap. Gains and FICA?

I'm not being difficult here, but I want to make certain I get all my facts straight and that just seems unlikely.

  • @bsabruzzo Reagan's Flat Tax Plan never replaced the current tax system. A Flat has never made it thru Congress; reasons mentioned in the video. While both a Flat and Fair Tax have many similiarities, the main difference between the two is a Flat is non adjustable and a Fair is adjustable and will eventually lead to the same type of corruption and abuse our current system has. Goto the Cato Institute for more info.

  • @bsabruzzo -cont When congress "fixes" the system under the FT, everyone buying a candy bar will see the tax raised to compensate the tax break. And there is no justification for a tax break when there is one written into the bill. Say a new product hits the market that everyone needs like they need an oven. DHHS adds that in to the poverty level which the rebate is based on. so no need for a tax break. And 4.) With a consumption tax right where we can see it we now can compete with -CONT

  • @bsabruzzo CONT- China and all others on exports and imports. When we send our goods over seas the embedded tax from our tax system goes with it at an average of 22%. when they send it here they drop their sales tax from the price and we don't have one to add. Under the FT exports go over seas 22% cheaper then they do now. We simply drop the FT from exports and add it to imports. That's why almost every international corp has said they'd build their next factory and/or HQ here. That's Jobs, sir

  • @laudanum4u I've lived in the DC area long enough to know politicians can do anything, even when the public doesn't want them to. The Fair Tax sounds almost too good to be true. What level of budgetary spending is the 23% based on? If fiscal discipline comes to DC (haha), will the rate go down?

  • Guess what dumb fuck -- if you cant get ANY congressman to vote for the worlds HIGHEST tax on rent -- FT wont pass.

Got that - because FT is the worlds highest sales tax, and its on rent.

Just like the Congressman would have to vote for the World's Highest Tax on cancer care, nursing home patients, funerals, ect.

Dumb fuck - Fairtax KNOWS no one -- I mean NO ONE -- is going to vote for these taxes idiot. Its a fucking farce you dumb fuck.

  • Riot dumb fuck -- can you imagine a Congressman runninng for office saying cancer victims must pay huge sales taxes on every dime they spend to stay alive?

Fuck no. In fact, dumb fuck -- every congressman would rush to give exemptions to cancer victims, the elderly, ect.

Got that basic fact you dumb fuck?

That ONE fact dumb fuck would destroy all fairtax bullshit math, yoiu fucking retard.

Fairtax has LAYER after layer of pure bullshit absurdities you dumb fuck. Its fucking wack

  • Unlike the current system, that taxes at a rate of around 28% to cancer victims, In the form of embedded taxes. Do you think the doctors and nurses pay income taxes out of there own pocket? No, they up the price on the customers. You know this dingleberry. I've heard you quote the study often enough.

  • Laud dumb fuck I know plenty of people who had cancer --not charged a dime of tax idiot.

Fairtax "math" is based on actually collecting this tax from EVERY cancer victim, every nursing home patient, etc

Not only collect taxes from the sick - but from the cities and states. Thats right, they aren't just taxing people fool. Their goofy fucking math pretends to tax cities, states.

Of course they know they can't get the money. It's a gimmick, a farce, a hoax.

  • Yeah.......that didn't totally ignore my point.

  • What do you dumb fucks think will happen when the parents of a kid with cancer say it's not fair to charge them huge taxes, just cause their child got cancer.

Guess what dumb fuck? Congressmen will fucking LINE UP to exempt cancer patients from this tax idiot.

Thats just ONE exemption -- there will be many more. There HAS to be dumb fucks.

FT leaders know this too -- they are not serious dumb fuck

  • With universal health care there will be no medical reason why anyone shouldn't pay a fair or flat tax. No exemptions but there would be a standard deduction at the poverty level.

  • @riotuesday

Dumb fuck -- then the GOVERNMENT or whoever had to pay that 1 million dollar cancer bill -- will have to pay the tax.

Do you get that thru your fucking dumb ass yet? ITs a tax on governement too. Got that retard?

That's how they fucking pretend their math adds up, retard.

SO guess what you fucking idiot -- their math does not fucking add up. Got that retard? They know it's fucking bullshit.

There is no one at Fairtax who is really trying to pass it. It's BS

  • @SouthernFriedHoney What are you talking about?

Fair Tax and Flat tax don't have a definitive method of who and what rate people are taxed at. You obviously ready some book that has got you pissed off. I don't know what book and I'm not interested in your ridiculous wich hunt.

Your like chicken Little "The Sky Is Falling, The Sky Is Falling" Fucking uneducated, ignorant idiot!

  • Riot dumb fuck -- FLat tax is a legit concept. Got that retard.

Fairtax said 23% moron, and you keep all your paycheck, and prices dont go up but all taxes are within the price of things.

That was and is FT dumb fuck -- all taxes paid by a sales tax, which keeps prices the same.

ITs fucking bullshit you dumb fuck.

  • Lets look at the "no exemptions" bullshit. Without that, FT leaders said it's not Fairtax. ANY exemptions, they say, mean the plan falls apart.

SO -- you will make ALL government pay this (except education)?? You will make EVERY renter, every cancer patient, every new home buyer, EVERY utility bill have massive taxes?

So cancer patients will not get exemptions? Old people in nursing homes will have to pay this?

No dumb fuck -- its a fucking joke dumb fuck. A hoax, its BS.

  • I didnt read the book? Dumb fuck, I read the book, and the Answer book, and all the "research" FT did.

Its a fucking hoax dumb fuck -- it's a farce.

Oh -- if you could have a 23% tax to do all that -- maybe. . But you can't dumb fuck. The real rate would be 90%.

They didnt lie about how great it would be not to report your income, and file taxes.

But they fucking lied big time about how it "works". TO get the 23% BS, they had to pretend to tax the government.

  • @SouthernFriedHoney

and all the "research" FT did.

What is fair tax an organization, a person a bowl of cereal?

Don't answer unless you can cite some empirical evidence. A book, and author, A speech. Anything other then your weirdo ranting.

  • Riot dumb fuck -- research?

What fucking research are you fucking talking about?? YOu mean those old fucks in Texas who donated 25 million to push this farce?

They did no research idiot. None. Zero.Nada. You dumb fuck -- did you READ that "research"??

YOu dumb fuck - there WAS no research, not any, none.

  • Emprical this dumb fuck -- wall street journal called Fairtax insane.

Emprical this dumb fuck -- the "research" they did is just repeating how this will all work.

Go fucking read it. They didn't research SHIT moron. They just said how wonderful it will be when everything is free and no one pays taxes except the sales taxes which wont raise prices. SO everything will be free.

Its fucking insane shit you dumb fuck -- no research at all.

  • So you are upset and worried about one side of the view from the Wall Street Journal. I suggest you write a letter to the editior and stop running around like a Southern Fried Chicken with it's head cut off.

  • @riotuesday Wall Street Journal is just one organization that called this insane shit a pile of shit.

No corporation is for it, none. Yet corporations would get ALL their taxes wiped out. NO TAXES.

Let me explain to your dumb fucking ass -- if this plan was real, if it wasn't a pile of bullsshit, a hoax, corporations would love it.

But because its pure fucking crap, you dumb fuck -- corporations are not for it.

  • Riot - look page 148 Fairtax book. Go fucking find the fucking book, pick it up and read it, retard.

"The federal government itself will become a MAJOR taxpayer" -- that idiot statement is supposed to PROVE there will be no exemptions.

Do you really FUCKING think Congress is going to tax cancer care you fucking idiot? Do you really fucking think government is going to pay taxes dumb fuck?

IF you do -- dumb fuck -- Ive got a tax plan for your dumb ass.

  • Stand of course I have read the FT book, iidiot. I was a big fan of FT till I read that book. It's total bullshit idiot.

For example, retard, read page 148. Go open up your dumb ass book, to 148. Read it moron. "The federal government itselt will become a MAJOR taxpayer". That is his "logic" that there never be exemptions, by the way.

Bull fucking shit - the fed government CAN NOT pay taxes -- but Fairtax counts that as income,. Got that retard? Fucking THINK when you read, moron

  • No more embedded taxes? You fucking idiot -- Fairtax ironically is the biggest embedded taxes possible, dumb fuck.

Fairtax fine print has HUGE -- MASSIVE taxes on the GOVERNMENT. Every city, every state -- even the pentagon and Medicare-- will have to pay the world's highest taxes dumb fuck. Something FT has tried to hide in fine print.

Guess how all those government levels will have to get that money ??? By raising taxes dumb fuck

  • have you read the the fair tax book? and the reason congress doesnt want to hear it is because it doesnt allow the government to just take what they want for all the bullshit side deals...thats why its so hard to get passed. If you havent even read the book you clearly are the idiot in this discussion. What is your educational background?

  • its funny how ANOTHER COWARD HIDES behind a faceless youtube page. no pics, no vids just cowardly rhetoric from a pussy , i mean youve got to be a pussy cause its clear you dont have any balls.

  • staz dumb fuck -- this isnt about my balls -- thanks for your interest. THis is about Fairtax as a hoax, a farce.

Got that retard? I just told you where even a dumb fuck like you could find some of FT extreme bullshit.

Now, I realize you are too fucking stupid to find them yourself. But fuck, I point them OUT to your ass -- and you are still too stupid to see it.

Page 148 -- Fairtax book, is a good indication it's pure bullshit.

  • You are getting your information from a terrible source. Instead of believing the first thing you read you need to do some research. You are making yourself look like an idiot!

  • Mr Lib -

Im getting my source from Fairtax.

Open, dumbfuck, your Fairtax book to page 148. Then have your mommy read "The federal government itself will become a MAJOR taxpayer"

Now dumb fuck -- if that didn't wake you the fuck up -- you are retarded.

But there is more. Open up the other book to page 138. Now fucking read about how cities and states have to pay all t hese taxes to.

Let me ask you dumb fuck -- where are they going to get the money to pay their taxes?

  • I didn't effect Fairtax -- its a farce, it hasnt been taken seriously in 13 years -- corporations know its a joke, national retailers are dismissing it as a gimmick that would "devestate" the economy for years.

Fairtax only still fools some really dumb people. It's not a serious plan, never was.

I will have an impact on the lying Fairtax moonies who try to use You Tube to bullshit people. Every time you try that crap here, I will chime in to tell the truth.

    Google Fairtax absurdity

  • Fair Tax is the way to go!! !Everyone pays the same percentage. Equity Equity Equity!!!!!

  • feeny are you retarded? Seriously, are you?

No dumb asp, everyone wouldn't pay the same percentage you dumb fuch.

Renters for example, would pay much higher percentage of their income in taxes, cause rent is taxed.

People with high medical bills -- people whose kids have cancer or injuries -- they will pay much higher precentages .

SO get a fuching clue what the fuck you are talking about you stupid idiot.

  • "feeny are you retarded? Seriously, are you? "

    Nice come back Einstein.

You are taxed on what you spend. No Spend No Tax

    Mucho Spend Mucho Tax.

  • You're posting the same thing over and over and over Mark....and you're asking other people if they are retarded?

Then again....real crazy people don't know they're crazy! Hmm....

  • no your the dumbass because now the LANDLORDS no longer would be taxed on capitol gains, and freemarket competition between the landlords will cause the rent to go down. and build more housing, plus those people who live there now have more money to spend because their keep all their paycheck. get educated

  • stand wrong -- the LAND lord will have to pay much HIGHER taxes, because state local and county taxs will have to sky rocket.

You see -- state, county, and local government will have to pay huge taxes. Now just where do you think they will get it?

SO rent will have to go UP and then a huge tax on top of that.

See dumb ass -- Fairtax leaders know their own plan is fucking bogus insane shit, and they are not trying to pass it.

  • Stand -- landlords and capital gains? Gesus you are dumb fuck. Capital gains comes if they SELL the apartment complex dumb fuck. Not when they get money from rent.

Someone so fucking stupid to think landords profit is capitl gains - what dork.

But that' exactly the kind of moron who thinks Fairtax is a real plan.

  • because landloard buy property smartass, then sell property, my parents are landlords, if you were in the business you would know the commonalities of the industry

  • Stand dumb fuck -- Landlords by definition make money from RENT. You said RENT would go down dumb fuck, because LANDLORDS (by magic) would have more money.

Fairtax is a fucking farce -- it will never do anything - because it's so goofy, it's own leaders won't even allow hearings under oath.

  • duh all taxes will be thru CONSUMPTION! 23% sales tax on all non necessity items. By analysts computations there will actually be 34% MORE revenue because of the people who dont pay taxes now, drug dealers ILLEGALS, pimps, prostitutes, but they will add to the tax code because they all are consumers. You clearly havent read what your trying to debunk....get educated...your outta your league

  • and state and local taxes are still the same, nothing changes in the local level...oh btw except for industrial expansion, no more welfare dragging, no unemployment insurance to pay, no city taxes the list goes on forever. how bout bringing 13 trillion dollars back inside our borders. no more embedded taxes..

  • dude...seriously...

you will likely NEVER have a real impact on this issue.

Why do you waste so much time posting the same crap from a handful of different accounts?

You might have a different view of taxes if you had a job...maybe moved out of your parents basement...got a girlfriend...etc...

  • Flat tax -- maybe - if it were really flat.

Dan and the whole CATO institute is a lobby group to get rid of taxes on the idle rich.

Dan's plan is ZERO taxes on idle rich -- and all taxes on workers.

Have a real flat tax -- treat everyone the same, no matter how they make their money.

Dan here iin the video is for the OPPOSITE of a flat tax -- don't be fooled by him.

  • Flat Tax is it!

The Fair Tax is not fair. A sales tax will increase all merchandise, products and goods. I don't want to pay $50 for a bag of rice and $60 for a T-shirt and $5 for a candy bar

  • It's not like that. The stuff you are buying today is largely marked up by hidden taxes. Corporations do not pay taxes, they pass them along to consumers. Take Con & Tax (cap and trade) for example. When energy prices go up, it doesn't just affect your utility bill. Goods will be more expensive because Company X's utilities and shipping costs went up, too. FairTax eliminates those embedded taxes in the things you buy.

  • You mean like posing as several different people to make it appear as though lots of people agree with you? That kind of bogus?

  • 22 million in fuching research Ken says

Is he retarded? I read a lot of their so fuching called research -- its pure bullshit. Each paper STARTS with the assumption this Magic Pony can shit gold, and then tells you how great it will be to have all the gold.

Its that fuching stupid. Its that fuching much of a con job. Its pure bullshit.

Research? Jesus the research doesnt reearch ANYTHINGn you retard. Its just more bullshit.

  • You must work for the IRS and are worried about losing your job....

  • Irs employee above

  • yes it can...it does it already...

The federal gov't is the biggest employer..

It than taxes its employees, due to their income..

  • So you think the lunatic prebate is going to solve the Fairtax farce?

Here is a clue -- its a FUCHING FARCE you idiot -- its a con job. They are bullshitting your dumb ass. The prebate is a joke too.

The prebate is 188 or so a month retard. It doesnt fuching go up a dime, even if you or your kids have huge medical bills, rent, whatever.

Poor people you fuching idiot won't be able to pay it. In many cases - by your dumb ass plan -- people's taxes would be HIGHER than their income.

  • face/palm

Do you have to take classes to be this stupid?

No, I won't insult your intelligence by suggesting you really believe what you just said.

The prebate is up to the poverty line you fool. And your not supposed to live on the prebate lol. A sales tax would encourage people to save, and with the removal of the income tax, have a lot more of their own money to spend on "medical bills, rent, whatever."

  • Cancer surgery is not retail moron

  • Pis head. The Fairtax is a farce you moron.

How the fuch -- you idiot -- will the poor pay sales tax on their rent, idiot. Cause ALL rent -- every fuching dime paid by anyone -- has to pay the sales tax.

How the fuch will a poor person pay 50K sales tax on their cancer surgery you idiot ---

Fairtax has NO -- NO exceptions or exemptions. Why? Cuase their shit farce plan is BASED on all EVERYTHING paying the tax retard.

    It won't happen you idiot.

  • You made 2 different accounts just to spam Fair Tax videos?

    You're a fuching loser

who is too stupid to change the spelling of "fuch" to "fuck" on each account post so as not to reveal that both accounts are from the same person!

    Fail.

  • The Flat Tax is just another income tax. It's naturally regressive because flat taxes hurt the poor the most. It will be collected by our employers and the government will still be free to extort as much from us as they want.

The Fair Tax is a consumption tax and prebate system. It's more progressive than the current income tax system. It's collected automatically so nobody has to be investigated and it allows us to actually regulate our federal tax liabilities by regulating our consumption.

  • Flat tax might be fair, but there's no way it can last. How can you allow a tax on income, without a way that it'll gradually progress more and more complicated, with more and more loopholes. Furthermore, people can hide their income a lot easier than they can hide their consumer spending, what with large retail chains these days. Self employed people can ask to be paid in cash, but there's no way Wal Mart will try to avoid the sales tax.

  • Flat tax -- what flat tax? The flat tax these guys talk about -- isnt even FLAT. Its flat as Pike's Peak. Flat as Dolly Parton. They want no taxes on credit swaps, naked shorts, capital gains, all unearned income. They just want ordinary income taxed -- wages -- small business. They want ordinary income to be the ONLY thing taxed. Watch out for these lying sneaky bastards.

  • Flat tax is more doable and more reliable.

    Not to mention fairer.

  • Let's assume that a flat tax is more doable, reliable and fairer. How does the government make up the difference in income? This interview was done before the economic crisis hit, when business was good, not that many people have lost their jobs, and business is way down, the government would have a very hard time making enough money to run itself.

  • Are we talking about the flat tax or the fair tax? I said the flat tax is more reliable for exactly the reason you just described: If the economy slows down and consuption falls, so do revenues. It seems we agree.

  • Tax revenue would fall greatly if there were a flat tax.

Right now, unfortunately, it is the lower class who are losing their jobs. The lower class, however, accounts for a far greater percentage of workers in the work force.

While more money per person is made from the upper class, there are far few upper class to tax.

By having a graduated system, we rely more on those who make more (and have more job security) than those who make less and are losing jobs.

  • And in the process we kill their motivation to invest because half of what they make is taken from them by the government.

Why not just tax everyone at the same rate? The rich will miss theirs a little less, but that's what happens when you're rich! Wealth is not something that needs to be corrected for in fiscal policy.

By the way, there would be a lot more jobs for working-class Americans if businesses paid lower taxes. Think about it...

  • You make a good point, it is harder to invest money when you have less. But that assumes that money not being paid in income taxes would be invested.

Simple example for why everyone should not have the same rate. Say you have say 20 people making just enough money to get by after taxes 70 people that can afford wants after taxes and 10 people who can afford whatever they want, if you bracket the system so that those 20 can buy some wants and the 10 pay more, more goods are consumed.

  • Is it a coincidence, then, that America's period of greatest innovation and prosperity was the period between the Civil War and 1912, when everyone had the same tax rate (zero)?

Just because someone makes more money doesn't mean they should pay more taxes. I don't dispute that their money has more marginal utility, but when you tax different parts of the economy differently, they develop at different rates and the market gets screwed up. This is true of progressive AND regressive taxes.
