oh i was just wondering since i am training my pony Fly, could you give me some tips? and do you no about the road rules and regulations with having a horse and cart near the road? i have tried to find out but it is so hard. I have a bigger horse i ride out but i am just not sure what to do with her since i am training to carrige, sorry to trouble but i could do with some help if it is ok with you?
heyy lol happy to help! Well for a start you will need insurence :P the most simplest and what is a legal nessecity is third party insurance xx BHS gold member should cover this, its no more than £100 a year which is very good considering it covers any damage to anyone or anything that isnt you yours or your family! anyway email me with more pacific questions lol there is too much to cover xx
oh i'm sorry, i read that you were in the UK and presumed england. I have the same nylon harness... I don't like. I found a really cheap place that makes them partially custom!! Did you get a cart yet, sweetie?
studys have proven them to keep horses cooler and the one i have isn't water proof but you can get one but i wouldnt advise as it isnt as breathable and he may over heat and here is the link to the site which will tell you every thing you need to know
Dandy has a bad sweetitch problem. We use a bowitt blanket (not sure I spelt that right). He wears it 24/7 during the midge season and the results have been excellent. They call it his sausage skin at his yard cos that's how it looks on him. If you need the right spelling so you can look into them, let me know. Expensive but worth it.
oh thanks for telling me but i have already got one and yes i agree it is brilliant Ive only had it 1 year (since he has been mine) but at the stables we tried everything for him even keeping him in every night all through the "midge months" but nothing worked until we got the boett (that is the right speeling "bo-ett as in go get lol i saw it when i bought it) and do you know if it is ok to drive with the boett??
i totaly agree but raffles has not been rubbing because it is too cold for the midges. My cousin is a vet and they are trying to "invent" a injection for sweet itch sufferers but so far it hasn't been sucessful :( but if any thing works I'll tell you
