Nice attempt. If you can make it a bit, birghter and more... energy-looking, than it would be perfect. Also, try to find the actual sound effects too, and then you'll really be kicking some ass... well not really.
The outlines on the phaser effect are painfully visible. Furthermore, it's obvious the phaser effect is off-axis with the phaser barrel (a special effects gaffe seen numerous times on Star Trek episodes).
Looked like a stream of frozen coke. But the shield was OK.
