I recently solo'd Headless Horseman and Captain Latanica, something that had been my goal for a very long time. I'm very happy with my beginner, and I'm determined to push him further. I want to show the naysayers just how much a beginner can actually do.
It was a prize form the "Return of the Explorer's" Event back in March 2010. It came with the balance patch back then. You get an explorer to 50 within the time period of a month and you get the ring. It can be traded through the account like the Lilin's Ring, but the Explorer's ring can only be traded in this way once.
I made a spearman and then gave the ring to my beginner.
It also gives a 1% instant death rate on non-boss monsters. I think my weapon at the time of this video had 2% total damage on it still from potential. It would have made the instant deaths do the total monster's HP +2%. Just in case there's an instant death in here you were worried about.

It's a pain reliever. +30 defense for 30mins.
That was actually a pretty good bit back then...
I'm going to make another video of a Post-Big Bang Dojo Run with my beginner. I just have to figure out how to get the video to work right...

1. I'm Level 82 in this video, not 40.
2. Warriors have the worst defense formulas of all classes.
3. I don't particularly care if I am "weak". This is the style of playing that I enjoy.
