I was trying salt until i realized it would produce chlorine gas! haha But i just picked up a box of NaHCO3 from the grocery store. It was my original intention to keep some scientific consistancy so as to better show how different variations contribute to the production. Unless i record the PPM on the electrolyte, i dont see it as scientifically usefull. I think tap water is a good referance point.
I Know Very good point, but if your tap water is anything like mine I would use rain water or distilled/filtered/deionized/mineral water
