I can't believe just how far the owners heads are up their own asses. Ramsy should just let them fucking fail and buy that place and roll in the extra dough.
I suspect Ramsay has more control in the UK version than he does in the US version. You can see it in the way its produced, the US version seems entirely focused on keeping you watching. It constantly reminds you of what's going to happen after the next episode and emphasises the reality tv type drama that US viewers seem to adore so much. The UK version is actually focused on the restaurant itself, the food itself and is more an expression of Ramsay's culinary passions. UK version ftw.
I think the problem is that US audience is used to "Hell's Kitchen" Ramsey and want to see him basically shout at people. Also i don't think people are that interested in how restaurants actually work, but are more into the drama surrounding it.
It's too bad actually cuz Ramsey's passion for food in the UK version is hypnotic, especially when it rubs off on the other chefs (like the young ones in Glass House ep). You really see why he is so successful...
Kim sounds so sweet!

I like the UK versions. It's such a shame that the US versions are censored.

UK versions of the series are way to entertaining and informative then the US ones. A big thumps up to all the episodes shot in the UK.

@stndrds79 I think the UK version has got the perfect combination of people vs food.
The US version is all about drama.... good shows though...
