If I`m not mistaken this was right around the time Jimmy was kicking Heroin after being on it for seven years so it`s kind of expected he didn`t give his best. In the last days of Zeppelin it`s hard for me to listen to him live, he plays like he has a broken hand. Some musicians say heroin made them a better musician, others it obviously didn`t help and it seems Jimmy was one of those.

This is amazing! I was born in 95 and I'm 16 now, and all I listen to is classic rock. Been playing guitar since I was 5 also, and man I've gotta say Jimmy Page is ranked number 2 in my all time favourite guitarists, beaten very slightly by Randy Rhoads (RIP). Jimmy put so much FEELING into this solo! Head down, pick in hand and rocked out!!! What better way to learn that from the greats :)
