Lampard is the better player at the moment and the stats show it,u cant say gerrard is the better player for defending, passing, shootin. when gerrard is sittin on 47 yellow cards and 4 reds compared to lampards 49 yellows and 3 reds,and lampard is 2 years older, he also has scored more goals and assists,until gerrard can equal or better that then u cant say his better.also lampard is way more consistant as he scores in almost all major games he plays,cant get a better guy to turn a game around

i agree with @gnurtnahg lampard is a good player but gerrard is diffrent class , better at defending better at passing better at shooting and if a game needs turning round gerrard has more spirit, for the euros next summer we cant make the mistake of playing them both together again and if i was 2 play 1 of them it would be gerrard along with wishire and parker, young welbeck and rooney up front smalling cahil cole kelly defence, we will get quite far with that line up ( :
