Hold the Shoot button down for about 2 seconds. You have to buy the ability by upgrading your 'guns' for Vergil though.

i've got special edition and i used dante through the whole game i beat him on easy normal and hard but i still cant unlock him why is that?

I'm not sure, I thought to unlock Vergil it was run through the game on any difficulty.

To select him, you have to start a new game and hit right at the screen after, it's not just a seperate costume or whatever.

when u click to start game, only appear dante or is dante and vergil?If is both, u do L1 or R1 or try clicking on all buttons of ur control until vergil get lighted.I cant remember the button lol..i stopped 1 year ago

I beated the game in easy but I can only keep using dante and I don't have bloody palace mode.

you can also make a dmc3 not SE save in your memory card or whatever that is (don't even havto play it) eject the dmc3 cd then put your dmc3 SE cd, in the beginning it should say vergil is now selectable and bloody palace has been unlocked

Dude u can unlock Vergil after finishing DMC at any mode ... i played easy first ... and unlocked him ... after i finished normal mode and unlocked both Dante and Vergil costumes and new missions ... after i finished hard mode i got new costumes and Dante Must Die ... and i finished it for good :) ... Judt Do IT ! Go crazyyyy ! ;)

Use the invincibility frames with Vergil's style. When pressing circle, or the combination, he dissapears and reappears, during this phase he is invulnerabel, similar to that when jumping upwards. It's not that hard to master really and even then you can just use the rolling invincibility frames. :p

Or...Do what I did when i 1st got the game and JUMP LIKE HELL

lol i played DMC1 years and years ago.. it seems like forever and i recently bought DMC3 and fell in love with it.

I completed it with Dante and loved it and rarely ever get hit. With Vergil however I jsut do not understand how you avoid getting hit since Im used to using tricket on Dante and zapping among enemies

Sken, the Special Edition has been out for a while, you'll manage to find it still roaming the shelves at any decent games store. Who knows..Places like Woolworths may still stock this beuty. As for time freezing powers, you're talking about Quicksilver, which you get from killin' tha horse (Can't remember the name) in the colloseum. Doppelganger is available after you beat Dante's doppelganger in Mission 18.

StrikePen, I think everyone knows that, but yeah shield swords ftw. <33, WTF it hasn't been released yet, wouldn't know. I'd advise playing the games in this order to if you want to know the story like;

There is no 'ending' for Vergil as you say, there are 2 cutscenes at the start of the game, specific for Vergil, but after that it follows the exact same storyline as if you were Dante. There are no cutscenes at all apart from the 2 at the start.

however there is that bonus ending for killing 100 demons that has only vergil in it, so i guess this is the closest thing to "virgls ending", but of course its still not.

Wont let me add anything else to the description :( So I thought I'd tell you all here instead. Because I'm so cool, I thought I'd go stick on that Turbo Mode, after never using it since the game was released in Europe, and I went and bought the game. So I went to options, AND IT WASN'T THERE //WRIST. Wow, Corrupted memory card, laggy laptop with rubbish specs, broken controller AND a game that doesn't do what I thought it would :( Someone should get in contact with the TDA me thinks.
